It says "Available:- Mon, 01-31-2011"

Looks like you just have to wait. Maybe email them to confirm the date of availability.

Yeah, the store owner, Randy, says that they should get them soon and he will find out more next week.

I might order from BBTS if they have a Black Friday sale.

In the meantime, I tried dremeling the inside of the recast head. It made a small difference, but I would have to remove a significantly greater portion of material for the head to sit any lower on the neck. If you guys buy this head and don't plan to repaint it, be careful handling it. Just holding the head while dremeling caused the black paint to rub off his hair. When you pay $60 for a head, it definitely is an annoyance to have weak paint with no protective coat. Fortunately, I plan to completely repaint the head to match his appearance on the DVD cover.

I wonder how many units of this figure were actually made. If Enterbay is having factory problems and US retailers are having trouble receiving stock, this might be a very limited piece.

I have 5 ip man, 2 from the ACGHK2010 and 3pcs via pre-order method, the quality is slightly different.. the painting especially

You should watch it on DVD /Blu ray. They have the movie dubbed (it's well worth watching dubbed).

It was dubbed in English, but only the Chinese was dubbed. The Japanese soldiers speaking, and the writing in the epilogue was not translated.

I figure the Japanese not being dubbed was an "artistic" decision, but not knowing what the epiloque said was annoying. By the pictures I can tell that it was probably saying something like Ip lived a long and happy life after the invasion was over.

Jengo, I would like to know more about the difference in quality between the figures.

I found a transcription of the epilogue text online, if you'd like:

"Ip Man refused to be subjugated by the Japanese army and used his fists to call forth the unity of the Chinese people. Assisted by his good friend Zhou Qingquan, the wounded Ip Man successfully fled Fo Shan with his wife and son.

On August 15th, 1945, Emperor Hirohito of Japan announced that Japan would surrender unconditionally. The Chinese finally won and ended a war that lasted 8 long years.

In 1949, the Grandmaster Ip Man settled in Hong Kong. He started his first Wing Chun class at Kowloon Hotel's Staff Association Headquarters, turning a new leaf in his life.

In 1967, Grandmaster Ip Man started the Wing Chun Athletic Association to foster the spirit of Wing Chun with a group of like-minded enthusiasts, fulfilling the most cherished dream of his later years.

The lineage of Grandmaster Ip Man's disciples has exceeded 2 million people. There are lots of talented people among his disciples...

Including the most illustrious action star of all, Bruce Lee."

I saw the undubbed subtitled version. It was a pretty good movie, though not acurate to his real life. Ip-man was addicted to opium, and he was a cop during the earlier parts of his life according to wikipedia.
