No one can be sure but its simple supply and demand. Its not about just having a Jordan figure, its about the novelty of owning the 45 that will keep this figure in demand and prices high.

Well I hope your right for the sake of those that paid such a high premium. Personally I don't think the novelty of 45 will hold a high value.

Why is no one selling the Warm up suit? Seems it would be an easy way to make back at least 100 or more off the price of the fig.

I guess the warmup suit is the main (only?) reason people bought #45. I know that's why I got it. I was going to display the #45's in the warmup suits and the #23's in their jerseys.

Apparently a lot of people since its already sold out :dunno

:exactly:

Take it from a guy who grew up following MJ's career and a long time Jordan memorabilia and shoe collector....these figures will increase in value...PERIOD! Don't believe me? Then let me know how much you regret not getting one in like 2...5...10+ years from now.

For those that didn't pull the trigger on this...this would be you in the future ---> :slap

LOL

That's kind of what I thought too. Sold out pretty fast too, and considering that the white 45 might be the least desirable among fans and collectors, I would say that speaks volumes.

The people buying these figures are fully aware that the 23 versions are coming out, and yet the 45 white preorder has pretty much been sold out since day 1 or 2, which went live on a weekend (I don't know that many people normally check BBTS on a weekend. It was a fluke that I did and discovered Jordan up for pre-order), and the red 45 seems to be selling for $600+, including shipping, on ebay.

Apparently, these are all signs which mean people don't want the 45 versions and aren't willing to pay top dollar for Jordan figures... :slap. I think this has been most people's reaction to these figures:

This is the only reason I have not cancelled my order. I will more than likely NEVER display Jordan with 45 showing. My display plan is identical to what you have just stated.

That or just sell it off to help pay for the red #23 if its goin to go up so much in value.

I actually found a way to display the #45 jersey and warmup suit :)
Made a foam mannequin, with his hands bent to the back with some wire...

Have ordered one of those copy heads, hope to get it tomorrow.
Also expecting some extra 1/6th sneakers. So for about $50 extra I can display them both.
(foam figure not yet perfect, but you get the idea, just imagine the head on shoes on there as well):

Do we know if the bases will all look like that or just the LE #45 ones?

More than likely just the 45, at least with the date, since that's the day he returned to basketball, and he was sporting 45 then. Hopefully, the 23's come with something similar at least. Even if they're without a date on them, that would be great.

I bet they'll all have the dates of the figure/Jordan time period specific to each figure. That's cool.
