I don't think EB's BL figures had a "series" label, & were simply put out independently.

Jordan seems to be done a bit differently to any other EB figures released, that I know about.

I'm curious how big demand for these figures is. The HK Kicks version sold out fast, but I think most of them ended up on Yahoo Auctions or Ebay.

I have both 45's, but now that I also have the 23 I must admit that the 45's aren't that 'special' anymore; Jordan IS 23.
Though I'm making my own jerseys now, so I'll use the 45's to display those :)

Not sure what Bill could do now to make future releases interesting enough for people to keep buying them all; I assume he can't keep doing the home and away versions of all releases and we've seen most jerseys by now (pinstripe and rookie Bulls uniforms missing).

There are two more headsculpt previews we've seen so far. So I can see him doing the All Star and Olympic outfits (luckily no home and away versions for those). But what more can you do with it? Maybe a Wizards one, but not sure how the license works (are you even allowed to display Jordan in a Wizards uniform? Not really his prime anymore).

Should EB decide to milk this figure, I can see still see a ton of variations that Bill can still use based on Jordan's career as an inspiration:

- North Carolina Jersey
- 84'-85 Chicago Bulls "Rookie" Jersey
- 1984 Olympic Jersey
- 1992 "Dream Team" Olympic Jersey
- 14 different ALL STAR Jerseys (1985–1993, 1996–1998, 2002–2003)
- Washington Wizards Jersey
- Washington Bullets Retro/Throwback Jersey

This will be very interesting to see how this line pans out. UD's licencing fees are so enormous that it must have cost EB a ton of money to acquire the licencing. If I were them and had to spend that type of coin I'd want to release as many different Jordans as I could to make sure the licencing cost is worth it.

However..........with too many releases comes issues with figures holding their values and the danger of watering down the line. Unless someone has a lot of disposable cash being a completest will be tough with this series, especially if you have to go to secondary sellers for limited production releases. Too many and people might give up and only select one or two to buy from the series. Too few and the licencing cost ends up being not worth it. As much as I'd love to pick up each one that comes out there's no way I can afford it.

Times like this I wish I had a crystal ball..........

Making the alternate black uniform:

I think the North Carolina or Olympic jerseys would be tougher since you probably have to get additional licenses for those logos.

If their going to milk this I could see them going with

Rookie Jordan
Slam dunk contest 88 Jordan
97 finals flu game Jordan
98 finals last shot Jordan
Black pinstripe uniform Jordan
Black alternate uniform Jordan
And all star uniform Jordan

Those red & white Bulls uniforms get boring pretty fast, so I guess an Olympic jersey would be cool, and an All Star one.

Yeah, I probably will. But need to make the shorts first, see how the set looks :)
Will probably try those this weekend.
Well, I do the designing, but still need the wife to sew them together :(

Really Wizards over a Tune Squad Jersey. LOL.
