Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

T800 while impressive still has plenty of room for improvement. E.g the shape of the head and the physique of the figure overall (looked more T1 Arnie size than T2)

The critical piece EB need to get right is the cowl and the Bale likeness. The rest of it should be fairly straightforward for them to execute properly.

Cape and cape attachment is just as critical for a character known for his cape :thwak

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I would have the T-800 by now but I'm terrified HT will announce one the day I buy it.

Everything is important, suit, cape, boots, belt, gauntlet. What I meant was the cowl and Bale likeness will be the most difficult therefore most critical pieces.

Everything else is not that complex so EB really has no excuse to screw up on those things. I'm sure EB will make it a point to show HT what a Begins Batman cape should look like, and for that matter, what the shape and finish of the gauntlets should be!

Nothings gonna work and be accurate for you when it comes to Nolan's Batman :lol And Im sure at the end of the day given the chance you'll strip it off the stock parts and replace them with any customised parts you can get your hands on...

:lol I love your lol cats

I worry about the cape and how it's supposed to attach more than their sculpting nowadays.

It's like the difficult stuff they get right but the most simple stuff comes out all ____ed up :lol

Look at HT, you can see the dimple on their face it's so damn detailed but the cape attachment is on his shoulder it's so damn off! :lol

At least 1/6 89 Batman got the cape right :nana:

But then again, that was an easy one since it involved no outside attachment, it's just hidden under the cowl. If HT had screwed that up then they should just shut down! :lol

Disagree mate! The physique is perfect right down to arnie's sloping shoulders. And there's not much wrong with the sculpt. The figure is close to perfection! I'm one of the biggest T2 fans you'll come across and Imo T2 Arnie will never be bettered in figure form!

Just leave the jacket on, I don't like to see the big elbow joint, looks like a toy :lol

I think EB's T800 is the most impressive (not favourite) figure I purchased last year, but to say it will never be bettered in figure form? I wouldn't say never :D

Well, all that matters is the T2 collectors are happy ;)

Where are the pics????????????? Cmon EB!!!

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

It HAS to be revealed by the end of the month. They can't wait much longer. They have to officially announce this soon before Hot Toys shows theirs!

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

That would be interesting if Enterbay gave Batman a removable mask with a Bale headsculpt underneath but I can't imagine that lasting very long, especially if you keep removing it and putting it back on.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I don't care if it doesn't last long, I'd probably never take it off and get a seperate parted out head and mask for an unmasked swap out option

But just the level up in accuracy and realism would be awesome to behold

I don't think it would be a strech to hope for something similar with the coming up Batman collectibles. I mean with all the unbelievable number of high end Wayne figures in the works right now, I can imagine manufacturers coming up with new ways to outdo each other. And a removable cowl is one of the first things that springs to mind, when thinking about future Batman figures. I would also expect improvement in the rubber department. Perhaps even in this coming up batch of releases from Enterbay and HT. They know its a major problem in this industry, and they know that its gonna be particularly important to fix it for the Batman franchise.
