My wife already laughs at me when she catches me posing my men dolls :lol

Wait until she catches me dressing up Batman! :slap

Removable cowl and suit would be the wet dream of a bat fan. Literally.
We can give one hundred or more reasons, why Dark Knight is the greatest superhero ever, but at the end of the day its really all about some deeply ingrained black rubber/latex fetish. ;) The same with Zorro...and Ninjas. There's just something about men in black, that makes some people tick. :)

No doubt this has been mentioned before, but what's the point in having a removable cowl if the eye make-up has to be applied and removed with it?

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Just leave the jacket on, I don't like to see the big elbow joint, looks like a toy :lol
Yeah true :lol I took the jacket off for the first time before. Though, displaying a Terminator 2 Arnie without his jacket on is like displaying batman without a cape! :gah: :lol

Well, all that matters is the T2 collectors are happy ;)

Yeah I suppose man! It's good they did such a brilliant job on the Arnie though mate as it gives us high hopes for batman and the rest.

Though it might appear as a slight overkill, but two Wayne head sculpts, one dedicated for the cowl, with the eye make-up painted around the eyes, might do the trick. Also, I am pretty sure that if Enterbay or HT would release a Batman figure with removable cowl, people would buy it even if there wouldn't be any black around the eyes. You could have Your own "Tim Burton's Movie Mistake" version of Batman ;)

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Is the only place to order this from the Enterbay site?

This figure is not available for order from anywhere, EB site included. Once it's up for PO there'll be a few places you can order this from, it just becomes a question of where it's most cheaply and reliably ordered from.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Yeah I knew it wasn't available to order yet. Just wondered if I could only order it from the Enterbay site or if other vendors like Sideshow would stock it.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

This figure seems like it's yesterday's news. I mean..I love the BB suit, but what the heck are they waiting on? The third movie is six months away! Spit it out already!

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I'm actually pretty stoked for this. I know exactly where I would display a 1/4 scale Begins suit Batman...

That would be interesting if Enterbay gave Batman a removable mask with a Bale headsculpt underneath but I can't imagine that lasting very long, especially if you keep removing it and putting it back on.

Do not want. Even at 1/4 scale I can't imagine that looking anything but awkward.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Makes more sense to give two headsculpts.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

If the cowl is removable, people would need a good supply of eye make up for the figure and eye make up cleaner too.

Because obviously if you put the cowl on the head, you need that black eye make up on and without the cowl on, you need to remove the make up.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I know nothing about this company.

What are they known for other than 1st to 1/4 scale.

What are their standout 1/6 pieces?

For instance, HT is known for their DX PERS line (masterpieces like Sparrow, 89 Batman, Joker), non DX yet still excellent figures (Superman, Batman Begins, Terminator, Blade, Leonidas, Bank Robber Joker, Spiderman, Wolverine, Mark 1, Mark IV) plus their Tumbler/Batpod, and yes their DX02/Watchmen rubber issues.

What is Enterbay known for again. :lol

Bruce Lee, that's it. :lol

I don't wants a 1/4 scale Kato, I wants me a bad azz Batman. :lol

But If they're only known for one 1/6 product then i'm truly impressed with how their 1/4 Terminator turned out.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Wow, this question actually stumped me :lol

I only purchased Enterbay's latest 'Game Of Death' release, & think that is a cool figure. But if I were to be honest, I don't think they have anything on the same level as HT's Blade/Spiderman/Jack Sparrow.

Having said that, although not 1/6 scale, EB's T800 would probably be my "show off" piece in my collection. & with all of EB's figure announcements, NBA, Rocky, Batman ..... etc (JCVD figures also rumoured), I think they will be, have been, good competition for HT.

Although, when it comes to releasing figures, HT is like a machine, I don't know if EB can compete with the quantity of figure releases, so I guess they should focus on quality.
