I do believe it WAS quite deliberate to make the Begins suit look clunky and amateur in TDK, all towards building the rationale for the suit upgrade.

Also if you notice, in Begins they never shot the suit under bright lights. That was deliberate as the texture of the suit would not hold up well under well lit closeups.

For the TDK suit they made sure it looks the part under close-ups and harsh lighting - the interrogation scene is a very good example of that. The lighting is really really harsh and bright in that scene and the suit looks perfectly fine.

Yeah, they definitely made it look like ____ on purpose. Probably a technique to make the new and "improved" TDK one look better when it finally showed up in all of it's glory in the Hong Kong sequence.

Actually, in TDK, Batman's cowl/mask looked no better than Brian Douglass'. In fact, it looks like Brian Douglass somehow managed to get an exact replica of Batman's cowl! How the ____ did he do that?

What a dream come true, the benefits of joints combined with the display presence power of 1/4 scale, what a wonderful marriage that is.

I/6 figures can easily disappear in a busy collection room, thousands of dollars hidden in the back somewhere.

1/4 figures is the future of high end collectibles.

After 1/6 Avengers my 1/6 purchases will come to an end so to save up for 1/4.

1/6 89 Batman and Hulk will be my grail 1/6 pieces.




Please educate my clueless ass on the differences.

Agreed 100 percent. Now for 1/4 Superman, 89, and Arkham City...

Well Bale is 6 feet tall and Oldman is slightly under that (around 5'10), so what's the big deal? It's not not like he's a 5'8 curly hair, ballding Batman or anything...

I am not a HUGE batman fan in terms of the character so will stick to 1/6 TDKR Bats
