Am I alone in thinking that a E1 Obi-wan would cause the value of the Inclusive Maul to go up? I suppose the presence of the battle-damaged saber isn't that important, but others might think so.

If that's the case, glad I got mine ordered when I did. :D

I want all 4 Obi Wans as well. So many of each characters best scenes are with Obi Wan:
Qui Gon
Maul
Jango
Mace (back to back)
Grievious
Anakin
Vader

I really think he's the character I want the most versions of. I don't think we need one from AOTC but the other 3 are must haves as far as I'm concerned.

I agree. AOTC is very "meh" for me. Really I would only want 2 more:

ANH Ben Kenobi
TPM Jedi Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi

I dunno, I like the idea of Geonosis battle scenes and Kamino battle with Jango. yeah the rain effect would be tough to pull off Obi Wan was one of the saving graces of AOTC.

Then we would need another Anakin to go along with it.

I don't see a problem with that.

I love to see an ickle padawan Anakin too from the end of TPM.

The only other Ani we need is AOTC. I don't really want any rendition of Jake Lloyd.

Just out of curiosity, one of those shots wouldn't happen to be where Obi-Wan is apologizing to Quigon for not supporting him in front of the Jedi Council (when they just arrive back at Naboo)? That scene has always bugged me because Ewan looks strange.

Yep... the wig looks even worst due to the strange lighting of the scene.

Also the scenes in the beginning with Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon fighting the Destroyer Droids. He has that bad wig when he says "Master Destroyers!" and "with shield generators!"

He also has the wig on in a scene when he first meets Jar Jar and has to duck from his waving ears after Jar Jar says "this way, hurry!". Originally, Ewan didn't have to duck during the exchange but Lucas had the animators add Jar Jar's twirl nessessitating a re-shoot of Ewan ducking from his ears.

Unfortunately there are MANY shots in Episode One with the wig on since Lucas, perhaps being a tad rusty with the directorial reins, had numerous pick up shots during the film's production... even though he had planned to do some re-shoots from the very beginning. I believe Ewan wears the wig in a few scenes during the Maul duel, but I'm not sure. It's been awhile since I've seen the chapter of the Star Wars saga.

Ewan just really looks like he as a ton of make-up in that scene... and he looks all swollen too... I always thought he looked like his hair gets really thin in that scene too. Now I know why. :lol

PS I definately want a Jake Llyod Anakin padawan.

I hate that wig too--drives me nuts when I see it! Still, I love Ewan in TPM. I would get one; he's the only character I will repeat. Although, a Jake Lloyd Anakin would be pretty tempting...

Sorry, but I would love to have two TPM Anakins, one with the slave outfit and one with the Padawan outfit and hair. Plus the body could be used for AOTC Boba Fett.
The sculpt on the Hasbro version of TPM Anakin will just look so out of place with the SSC figures. Aliens are one thing but the human figures are lightyears apart.

I think that with the Obi-Wan VS. Vader pieces in the PF line, and the ROTS Anakin/Vader VS. Obi-Wan 12" figures, they have shown that they know how we want to display these things--recreating famous duels. The fact that Qui-Gon and Darth Maul have been produced, and the fact that Maul includes his severed saber, makes me think that we won't have long to wait until the Duel of the Fates is complete, giving us three of the most memorable lightsaber duels from the saga in Sideshow form.

I would say that 12" Luke VS. ROTJ Vader will be the fourth duel to be realized, followed by Mace VS. Palpatine, and then Anakin & Obi-Wan VS. Dooku from ROTS. After that, Yoda VS. Palpatine from ROTS and Yoda VS. Dooku in AOTC--once they figure out how to do Yoda properly.

Well how about the most famous duel of all Luke versus Vader in the city in clouds on Bespin. We need that one very soon. Actually I just think a Bespin Luke would be really cool.

Do you think we can get a Saesee Tinn and Agen Kolar to complete the Arrest of chancellor of the scene

I think that they might one day do an ESB Vader, but if they do ROTJ Vader first, I won't be holding my breath for that repeat. (However, you can add me to the list of people that wouldn't be able to tell the difference between ESB and ROTJ Vader. I would have no problem posing ESB Luke with ROTJ Vader in a Cloud City duel.) As for Bespin Luke, I would expect him before too long, since ROTJ Jedi Luke will have vanished from the marketplace soon, and they will want the main characters available in some form throughout the life of the license.

And I think that the Palpatine showdown will one day be complete. But there are a lot more people waiting for Aayla Secura than Agen Kolar. As a stand alone figure, he is even more obscure than Kit Fisto, and less interesting visually.

First Vader has to be ROTJ. With severed limb. Whe SS does do him do you freaks think he will be a multi-head deal or similar to Medi-Vader?

Multi-head. A wearable helmet would just be too big at this scale. But I agree that ROTJ Vader will be first, with options for unmasked Vader and a severed hand stump that the ESB or ANH Vaders wouldn't have.

So will ROTJ Vader have three heads. Helmet on, back of helmet off, all of helmet off.
I hope sideshow doesn't go that route for the reveal Vader. Medicom has proven that it is possible without multiple heads. I just enjoy the play factor and the knowlege that Anakin is inside there somewhere...

If you think about it, if done correctly, SS can do a removable helmet Vader no problem. First there is no hair, and second, the helmet is SLIGHTLY bigger than the actual head due to the fact that it does not sit directly against any part of his head as far as I am aware. Think of it like the old scuba helmets, it was an enclosure for the head and no really for protection of the head.
