(plus Freddy Vs Jason was still a lot better than some of the Friday and Nightmare sequels.)

I hope he does it.

I loved Freddy vs Jason when I was 14. It was such an epic movie during that time. I still like it but not as much as I used to.

people love to crap on FVJ, and I understand the CGI looks pretty bad in some scenes,
but for me FVJ is a lot better than Jason X for example. or Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday , just like Freddy's Dead, which also sucked (or Jason Takes Manhattan for example, that one sucked too)

as far as Jason and Freddy movies go, there are worst movies than FVJ. I will never get the hate. I remember some people complaining about the bad acting, bad story and the bad effects in FVJ..... because if there is something that Friday and nigthmare franchises are known for is the amazing acting and amazing effects

An excellent French movie with some genuinely disturbing scenes. It's pretty hardcore with some tough scenes to stomach. I'd recommend it to any fan of horror. It's in a different league to other gore movies like Saw of Hostel.

I'll give it a watch.

I even saw some of the gory parts and saw the ending on youtube, but never the whole movie.

I don't know if I should wait for Blu Ray or not. I love the originals and Drag Me to Hell (I know, not related... or is it?). I just don't want to be let down. I hear its good though. Argh! It's a tough decision.

Sooo, opening sequence I laughed so hard I cried. I kid you not. I laughed quite a bit throughout the movie. Had a few tense moments but nothing that was terrifying. It was an all around entertaining movie, but not scary.

However, I was raised on horror films and it takes a lot to scare me.

I saw Strangers. I felt it was creepy, not scary. I hated PA. And I do not think I have seen Sinister. I need to!
