Well, it seems like QMX finally stopped either deceiving distributors or stopped responding to their messages, because the local distributor in Australia has finally confirmed refunds will be issued for those who pre-ordered Sulu. Almost two years and I'll finally get my money back. Good riddance QMX.

Looking forward to Data (and the rest!).

Yeah it's been pretty clear that there was never going to be another batch made for those like me still waiting for Scotty and Sulu.
Direct these hopes to EXO-6. EXO-6 is the only 1/6 Trek wish fulfillment entity in Sector One through out the infinite space-time cobtinuum.

Seriously, if I am gone, how will or can do this? No one

Environmental UNSAFE paint, fabric, and dye, will not fade, deteriorate, or stain.

Environmental Safe = Not Forever, molecule level must breakdown after X amount of time so they wont stay on earth as wasteful garbage.

China has been becoming straighter and straighter on environmental safe regulations.

It is easy to guess where this is heading for our newer collectibles.

Ugh! Gutted... My dollies will die before me.

No collector should see his figures die before him.

This is always a concern.

No one should suffer the agony of outlasting their toys. :monkey2

In the future technology will no doubt provide a solution to this dilemma...

A lot of actors in TOS were wearing toupees. It was common practice in the 60s, even since the beginning of the movies, and helped bald or balding actors to look "better" - if they had decent toupees. That was not always the case as can be seen in Judgment at Nuremberg where Bill Shatner gives a US officer.

This whole topic of toupees on actors back in the day is dumb.
Toupee or not toupee. That is the question.

I finally canceled with Sideshow for Scotty. I'm not sure why they haven't sent back NRDs, but QMx doesn't seem to care one way or the other.

If you cancel your order with Sideshow instead of them cancelling it because the manufacturer will not fulfill the order, you may not get your NRD back, that's the NR part of it. I would keep your eyes out for Sideshow notifying others than the orders won't be fulfilled and then reach out to CS at that point and tell them that you cancelled because you heard about this situation and took a proactive approach, but until they know what's going on, they're bound to just treat you like an order cancellation and no refund.
