Controversial….Jolene Blalock’s T’Pol is one of my favourite portrayals of a Vulcan 🖖
Same here. I was surprised to hear later that she really struggled during filming and constantly had to rely on an acting coach, because her performance was always so assured on screen and you could sense a real depth to the character.

Certain episodes of his are genuinely amazing. Meld is always my go to Tuvok episode.

It's funny how I've mulled over certain franchise characters from HT over the years, but each Exo 6 figure I've bought was an easy preorder and purchase.

We're so starved as Trek fans for great merchandise, and these characters haven't been done before in this quality and scale. It's so exciting to see new characters being teased and released.

I know that Facebook isn’t known for its pleasantries but good lord the amount of hatred directed towards Nanjin on both his personal and the Exo-6 collectors pages are truly vile. A couple of people in particular seem to take great delight in trying to put him down. No wonder he doesn’t post as much.

I have less than zero interest in Facebook - so haven't seen any of this.

I DO know it's a cesspool though, so l can't say I'm surprised . . . high-volume groups are often barely moderated.

I'll stick to here and the other forums I frequent, and hope Nanjin can find a way to ignore the idiots.

Another alternative would be him getting some folks to moderate the groups and drop-kick anyone intent on causing trouble (he should hire some of the staff from here :) )

What the sod is wrong with people ay? I only do facebook for business purposes and the odd product update. That’s it.
The irony - social media, what an oxymoron.

I'm on Facee but usually stay out of the groups.
The only ones I frequent are vintage Toltoys star wars and vintage kenner star wars pages.

Where is the hatred coming from and for what reason?
As far as I can tell,Exo6 is doing an amazing job.

This site was frequented a lot by Sideshow, then they were scared off.
Similiar to Asmus, and now Nanjin it seems.

Such a shame really as Hot toys don't even communicate with their fans..

I don't understand it though. Facebook is definitely more toxic than, say, this place. But why are people on there so brazen when posting with their real names?? You'd think the relative anonymity of a made-up name here on CollectorFreaks would more likely encourage the kind of arseholery that you see on Facebook.

And Facebook's posting format sucks anyway. I don't get the appeal, to anyone. The randomization, you can't find anything without receiving a direct notification. Here everything is laid out in front of you, organized.

Wider audience in one place on FB then here. As for which is more toxic, it's a coin flip somedays.

I've noticed that too - there seem to be a couple of super-trolls always on his case, smh

After reading about this on here I actually took the time to read some of the comments posted on his FB page. Yikes! I didn’t think people would be that vicious on somebody’s personal FB page. I just don’t get it. If they don’t like reading Nanjin’s personal posts the solution for them should be real simple don’t go to his personal FB page. Can Nanjin simply block them from commenting on his posts? I pretty much never post on FB so I have no idea what the rules are for.

Yeah I found those comments infuriating as well, as if there's actually anything wrong with a figure producer being proud of his team's work, or wanting to hype it up on his personal FB page.

Fortunately Nanjin seems more than capable of defending himself and lashing back at those idiots.

Was one of these posters the fella who had a go on the post where Nanjin said about posting curve balls?

If so I had an audible chuckle when Nanjin promptly replied telling him to go away (in less polite terms) if he didn't like it - its Nanjin's personal account if he wants to be all cryptic its all a part of the fun and games, imagine if we were able speak with Howard Chan on that level!

I'm really surprised Nanjin hasn't blocked one ****** in particular who comes after him on nearly every topic, from politics to figures. I don't even understand why that guy follows Nanjin.

Some people just want to see the world burn - cowards who delight in trying to cause misery & conflict.

I don't do Facebook much at all, so haven't seen any of the garbage posts. Not sure I want to.

I can understand respectful critiques being posted on the EXO-6 page but can't understand the garbage posting on his personal page.
