What's the difference between the UDC and WoK uniforms? Are they the same? Could UDC and WoK be seamless?

You'd think I'd know having seen the movies 10000 times. But they're so not obvious compared to the TOS uniforms or TNG or DS9 or VOY that I've just never learned. Great and iconic designs but not as obvious to decipher the "rules" for.

I was just looking into this and it seems he had a different collar showing in some scenes and in other scenes he didn't?

Edit: He was wearing the collar in the other scene, my eyes failed me....

Trying to read the tea leaves…it sounds like tomorrow will bring a limited figure. Could this be Pike? Are we also getting another open ended release such as Chang or Valeris?

I think they might have become a slightly more intense red in the later movies, but not sure of other changes.

I pre-ordered this, just in case he doesn't finish the Wrath of Khan line. I can always put The Motion Picture Kirk head on this body (Shatner is only 1" taller than Takei) and it least have a Captain Kirk in the monster maroon. I'd prefer Admiral, but at this point, I'll take what I can get.

So are we only getting three figures from TUC or is it just odd wording?

The email says: “At least three characters from Star Trek 6 are coming from EXO-6!”

I know previously Nanjin had said that TUC would be his swan song. Maybe the email means three characters in 2025 (assuming Sulu is included).

I think Sulu looks pretty good. Doesn’t include much but what he has makes sense. Wish the price was a tad less but not terrible.

I'm guessing 3dTrekker is already hard at work on Sulu's captains chair...

Struggling with this one. Not a huge fan of Takei personally, but always enjoyed Sulu's character on the show/movies, which is why Mirror Sulu was an immediate order for me. Just not sure on this release.

If I had a chance to get the complete bridge crew for TWOK, that would be all I'd need I think, and I have no plans to then double dip with the TUC crew in similar uniforms. But if this is the only Monster Maroon figure we get of Sulu, would he look out of place standing with TWOK with his captain's insignia?

I also can't continue to just buy everything at this point mainly due to limited space. So, Captain Sulu might be a casualty of this reality for me.
