There's all kinds of things being posted on Facebook. Believe me, take it with a grain of salt. I've even read postings where they were calling the military "terrorists". That's ****ty.

Oh I do. If I find something I almost always research it. Which is what I plan to do with some of them.

Marc that is very interesting.

I found that stuff back in 2002 when the first stirrings of 9/11 truther were turning up. I clicked a link in some post claiming the towers couldn't have fallen without demolition charges and sure enough, it was aliens. Martian shapeshifting lizards manipulating the Bush puppet regime to advance the Zionist cause. (Who'da guessed Martians were Jewish? :dunno) Turned out that one of the biggest stumpers for the whole thing was a guy who was still dropping acid after all these years.

The lizard people! Yes! That **** is so off the walls, it's pretty awesome.

I love it.

But I hate conspiracy theories that deal with traumatic events. Lizard people and underground Alien joint bases are fun to watch.

9/11 was done by the government is scary, and really awful to view.

This is pretty ****ed. :lol

Yeah, there was a terrorist that they were looking for in the area but I don't think I'd appreciate them slamming my door, opening it, pointing a rifle at me and telling me to put my hands up. Then be told to run down the street to get frisked, then have them go inside my house (in their boots no less) to look through my ****.

I don't want to sound like the people *****ing about "OMG, POLICE STATES", but that doesn't seem right to me. Surely they knew who they were looking for. All that ruckus to catch a 19 year old dumb *** who ended up being less than a mile away from the original area, tired and bleeding out in a boat?

What if one of those people were like, "Nah bro, you're not coming into my house, no one is in here, GTFO", what are they going to do, knock your door in? What if you ****ed up and ran and forgot to put your hands on your head in a panic? Would it be justifiable if they blew you away?

I can see something like this happening if they start taking gun control seriously and start seizing weapons. That'd be nuts!

That is one of the disturbing videos I was referencing. I have yet to research it. It sure does look bad.

Was this the MO for ALL houses in a given area? Or were there houses that were more aggressively/rigorously searched based on intel about the occupants' relationship with the suspect?

If this was the search protocol for every house in the search zone I'm sure there'll be more reports from citizens in the weeks ahead about how they felt about it.

That's what I'm waiting to see before I judge 100%.

See, it's no joke. :lol

Seriously, what the police and FBI did on the search for this ONE guy was high overkill.

To me, this was just a show of force. A demonstation of power and a sort of practice run on what they plan on doing from now on.

Go ahead peeps, believe what you want to believe and do what you're told. I will do what I'm told as well because I don't want any trouble, but I will not sit here and lie to myself and say everything is alright, it is not alright. **** is ****ed up!

So what happened? It seems like you know the story. Was this a possible suspect or just a random house? Do you have any links to articles about it?

You wouldn't say it's over kill if he'd blown up your kid.

Makes you wonder though.. Why would they act this way for one guy? Why the need to do forceful house by house searches, even though they said it was voluntarily, it clearly is not from that vid and from reports from others that where there.

The way the police were acting as though they thought people would shelter this guy? They obviously thought that. I would never believe this 19 year old kid would hold up a whole family like that. And so, if they thought that, then that means they know that there is low morale with the public and their government. Hmmm..

Yeah, I would. I wouldn't want the police to use my dead son as some sort of political chess move.

And I don't need to shove down the throat my mourning loss of my child all over the galaxy and have it milked to kingdom come. It's mine and my family's to deal with. Not the whole world.

Forget about the bomber. The idea that they pointed guns at civilians doesn't sit right with me. I mean, they had a description of the guy, why are they aiming at people coming out of their homes? There wasn't a hostage situation from door to door.

I totally get they were looking for the kid, that's fine. But man, I didn't know the extent of it from these videos and pictures. I can see why people are *****ing. The irony of it is, they didn't even find him by locking that part of town down. It was only after they called it off, opened places back up and received a call from a neighbor who spotted him in a boat.

I went looking and there's a **** load of pics where the police are pointing their pistols and assault rifles at civilians. The scariest one is someone in their window snapping their pic of the police outside and one of them are aiming down their sights from a Humvee at the person taking the pic!

But you don't have to act crazy about it. Most people don't buy everything everyone says. But most people don't look for the most insane, and illogical theory and act like that's the truth.

It goes both ways.

"19 year old kid". I keep hearing that. What's that all about? An attempt to diminish his culpability if convicted?

I don't recall Adam Lanza ever being referred to as anything other than 'the gunman' or 'the shooter'.

This individual is a suspected terrorist. The 8-year old victim who was blown up? That's a kid.

No it doesn't make me wonder.
It makes people like you wonder.
Because you lack the ability to put things in context.
The" kid" had just participated in running gun battle, shot two cops, threw explosives at pursuing police cars, car jacked a vehicle, took a civy hostage and participated in terrorist act by blowing up American people and causing numerous casualties.
What does make me wonder is what you think needs to happen to legitimize a show of force by law enforcement. Better "Over kill" then to let him get away to kill again.

Niether do I. I try to weigh in all options. I am like what one of my favorite comedians said about himself, Dave chapelle - "I am a conspiracy theorist to a degree." (You should check out what he says about the entertainment business)

I don't immediately assume things are a conspiracy. I am still trying to figure this one out.

So what's this about people wanting to try them as "combatants?"

I don't see the desire to legitimize this kind of scum's "struggle" by placing them in this category. And for the record, I am a military officer and Afghanistan vet, in case you're wondering where I'm coming from.

Terrorists like this are criminals, not warriors.
