I'll start ween. The fact that the government can listen to you without warrants should they suspect you of terrorism. Or the fact that they can declare someone a terrorist and basically capture or more like abduct them without proof or the necessary legal paperwork.

Now I'm not saying they are doing this. However should they be so inclined they certainly can now that certain laws have been passed.

I don't believe Boston was a conspiracy at all. Two asshats decided to hurt people. What I do find interesting are the stories of police barging into people's homes "searching" for two people. They locked down the entire city for "two people"? They had armored vehicles and heavily armed police and military in the streets. Imagine if this were 10 people?

What I really find interesting is that they found him right after they lifted their curfew/martial law. It was a citizen that found him.

I don't believe 9/11 was an inside job. Nor that this was setup by the government. I do believe when these unfortunate events occur, that the government exercises "liberty" in creating laws, that take ours away.

They were was no forced curfew/martial law. People were asked that they stay indoors. They even said a number if times when the curfew was lifted it was voluntary.

You are absolutely correct. Everyone complied. Which shows something. Something I'm not currently patient enough to post about. Even that aside imagine what would have happened if you were wondering the streets? I doubt you would have been greated with a howr you from your friendly Bostonian Cawp. Yes it was voluntary, but considering the show of force, was it really? Could you have gone out for a run if you so desired? I don't think so.

My impression listening to the police scanners were that there were people walking about and they were detained, questioned, and released before the cops went on with their search.

Which is what I have read some people allegedly went through. Not to mention the home searches being done without warrants. That's what I have a problem with.

Personally I wasn't there and cannot prove that what people allege to have happened did. However if they did, I hope they at least go public. Maybe they have? I haven't followed all weekend.

"Tsarnaev had been shot in the head, neck, leg(s) and one hand, according to an FBI affidavit supporting the charges."

Is there anything saying they forced there way into homes? I have not seen anything yet. If they knock on your door and ask can we search yr house and you say yes they need no warrant they were legally allowed into the home.

I personally think this was a neighborhood that truely understood the situation and those with nothing to hide were willing to good what they could to assit, be that staying home, allowing homes to be checked, etc..

And what do think would happen if they said no? :lol

Well to be fair, no buddy said "no" that we are aware of, so it's all just worthless speculation. I would have looked at it as my civic duty to get the guy caught.

I agree it's speculation. I just can't believe no one stood up for their own rights and let the officers do what they wanted. I know people have varying opinions on the matter and that I may be In the minority. I just know I don't want armed officers jacked up on adrenaline in my home with weapons drawn while my children slept. Call me crazy I guess.

No I get that. It just seems to me that the people of Boston were pretty much of one mind last week and really wanted to see these guys brought to justice and were willing to help out in any way that they could.

Gottcha, I understand what you are saying. :duff

I will have to do some research but I did see some videos posted on Facebook of police knocking and then clearing homes. They didn't ask. They immediately made the residents put up their hands and leave their homes. Again I'm not sure of the source. So I'm not saying with certainty that they are accurate.

There's all kinds of things being posted on Facebook. Believe me, take it with a grain of salt. I've even read postings where they were calling the military "terrorists". That's ****ty.

I just meant this for Chaver since he said he's lost some of his freedoms since 9-11.
