I don't want to know what people were doing relative to that statue, lol. I thought it was sexy in the preview but seeing the full thing, I don't think I could ever buy that and say I did it for any reason other than it looking hot.

So true. I know this isnt quite the correct type line for Star Wars but wouldnt you love to see an Arena Padme or Slave Leia in the same style.

Then I could justify buying it. Im still worried Im going to get a ear full from a certain someone when Slave Leia pops on to her shelf in my GG collection.

Realistic arena Padme I could probably slip past the goalee, but even a realistc slave Leia statue or PF would cause issues, let alone an stylized, sexed up version, and especially if it's a one of a kind item in my collection. A 1/6 Slave Leia would be no big thing, it's a collection and just another addition to it, but a one and only statue, hmmmm, ya, trouble there lol.

Maybe you could put her next to the Emma Frost statue, then it wouldn't be a stand alone item

I always felt the Slave Leia issue could be a good way of getting your girlfriend/wife to dress that way "Well baby, if you'd dress like that for me I wouldn't need this statue..."

You know the other week I was online searching for a Supergirl costume for my friends two year old and some of the costume stores carried full sized SG costumes as well.

I made the suggestion and my G/F is considering her response.....at least that's what her lawyers tell me

That was great episode of friends and that would be absolutely awesome. I think it was kind of geeky for Ross to sing but I wish they would have done Rachels hair in the Slave Leia style instead of the buns but it was great.
My gf owns them all on DVD and she couldnt understand why I was laughing so hard during the episode. She didnt quite know what Ross was refering to when he was talking about his slave Leia fantasy. My gf still hasnt watched ROTJ even though I promised her their were cute teddy bears she could look at for half the movie.

It's so funny, you can pick up any month's Maxim and see girls in less clothing and much hotter than Carrie Fisher, but yet, there lingers a childhood fantasy about Slave Leia, can't be explained, but it's there, and until we all have girlfriends dress like that for us, we shall go on buying collectibles and dreaming, little hint for the ladies out there JK, we love ya even if you don't dress like Leia, it just adds big points if you do it

So as a recap people... its a joke! Completely in jest, if you fell for it have fun... if it got your panties in a bunch maybe time to leave the basement.

The Star Wars line is very badass and we're getting some great figures. Just because you don't like all of the choices (Homer ) doesn't mean others aren't buying.

And if anyone thinks they are making a 10-foot tall chicken you need to put down the needle and check yourself into rehab
