Looks like Private Jimmy Ryan is up next.
Not surprising. Looks pretty good.

I'm going to wait and see on this one. I ordered the Upham based on the initial pics because I thought it captured enough of the actor. The latest pics have soured me a little on the figure. FP has been lackluster with their sculpts.

Here are a few more photos of the figure, along with the stone wall base display. This figure is looking very nice. Already available for pre-order from Facepool.

I saw that Facepool has announced that Ryan is releasing soon.

We need Facepool or DiD to announce Medic Wade and we're good to go!

OneSixthKit just announced invoices for pre-orders are going out.

He received his shipment meaning it's released in Asia.

US distributors/vendors will probably get it within the next 60 days or so given the congestion at West Coast customs and ports unless they're shipped via air freight.

To be honest, aside from the Mellish sculpt that was a deluxe item with the Upham figure, I haven't been impressed with most of their head sculpts/paint apps. Facepool does have fantastic gear and uniforms.

I hope Ryan looks better in hand that he does in pics.

Yeah, the head sculpt is not very good. The rest looks really nice. I actually like the base; a good starting point for a diorama.

Facepool does do great uniforms and kit. The head sculpt is the weakest point on this figure. Although recognizable, it isn't a great rendition of Matt Damon. Facepool's paint apps also suffer from Proto to Prod. Hopefully, this one at least comes close.

He is a must-have for a "Saving Private Ryan" collection, no doubt. I can't believe that we are just one main figure away from completing the collection!

Happy mailday from Giantoy - this just arrived today (along with the Pop Toys Son of General figure from Last Samurai). I live in NJ, USA, so needless to say I'm really impressed with the speed that I got these.

I'll share pics as soon as I can. For now, gotta get through the work day...

Here are some more pics to complement the ones already posted by others above. Hopefully these might help anyone who's on the fence about this figure. Or help build some hype for people who are waiting to receive theirs.

"All of them."

Jaeten, the colors of the uniform and head sculpt really changes considerably depending on lighting.

The first one of just Ryan is not to flattering but the other two look much better. Still doesn't look much like Damon but close enough, I guess. If I am disappointed with the head sculpt, once in hand, I'll grab a replacement sculpt from Ebay or an online shop.

No word on my figure shipping yet, though.

Hey FlyAndFlight, I have to say I strongly agree with you. The likeness to Damon isn't great, and the open-mouthed expression doesn't help much (but I do appreciate Facepool tries to do different things like this). I love having this figure and am happy with the purchase, but the head sculpt is only "ok". If you do find a good replacement, please share!

I did find a Matt Damon head sculpt on Ebay, being sold by a number of sellers, but just about all of them had too many recent negative feedbacks. (sending the wrong items, taking too long to ship and/or not replying to the buyers...)

The sculpt looked good, if not a little older, more like "Bourne" timeframe, but I think it will work out fine.

I'll await for my figure to ship and arrive so that I can decide if a replacement is needed and if so, dig a little deeper into the best seller option.

I still dig DID's. I hope they take a crack at it again, however.View attachment 559377

I remember that release, some years ago. Definitely a better likeness to Matt Damon. Hopefully DiD revisits the figure and I can at the very least, pick up a spare body and head sculpt, if needed.
