Damn, lol.....I am still on my first play through and I have 38+ hours.

Wow. I'm surprised to hear that. I LOVE this game and easily consider it the best of the year. Hell, I beat it once with a very heroic character (150+ hours of gameplay, completing nearly every side quest and exploring like crazy...and still not seeing everything) and then went through withdrawal, so I decided to play through again, this time as an extremely evil character. The replay value is amazing. I feel like I'm experiencing a different game this time through based on my character's actions and choices. Sorry it's not your thing, dude, but I can't put my controller down.

That's exactly what I'm wanting to do. This is my first character, so he's good. I'm wanting to try the game with an evil twist though.

Anybody know the location (roughly) of Fort Independence?

And if anyone has met the Regulators, what do you use to repair the jacket they give you?

i believe Fort Independence in up in the NW corner of the map.

as far as i know the Regulator Duster doesn't have an equivalent used to repair it. it's the same problem i ran into with Lincoln's Repeater.

Try the Hunting Rifle on Lincoln's Repeater. It takes awhile for that gun's condition to go down.

Thanks for the info on the Fort. I'll try and navigate there tonight.

This game is taking up way too much of my life! :lol

actually, i juct checked. i was thinking of Fort Constantine. Fort Independence is south of Vault 101

Man everytime I try to do the main quest to advance the story I get distracted by all kinds of things on the road... I start thinking "Hey let's check that tiny hut over there" or "Let's get inside that building" and one thing leads to another and I'm 200 kms off where I should be.

Amazing game.

IGN: How much will Operation Anchorage cost?

Gardiner: 800 Points.

IGN: Will any of the three downloads come with a lift of the level 20 cap?

Gardiner: Yes, the plan is currently for the third DLC, Broken Steel, to increase the level cap. This will be accompanied by new foes, perks and all of the other Fallout 3 staples our fans expect.

so make sure you have at least one save file from around the end of the game (before you get to that point of no return with the BoS).

i am sure most of us do, though, so we could finish up other quests.

Operation Anchorage - January. Fight the Chinese which is a simulation like vault 112
https://xboxlive.ign.com/articles/937/937202p1.html
The Pitt - February. Fighting Raiders in Pittsburgh
Broken Steel - March. The continuation on the main story where you join the BOS. This is the DLC that will raise the cap level according to the ign interview.

Man, I KEW I should have got this on the 360, instead of the PS3..:banghead...I am glad I bought GTAIV on the 360 at least, with it coming out with DLC early next year.... I just hope at some stage down the track, the PS3 does gets this as well...

At least I am FINALLY getting my "trophies" for this game now. BUT, it doesn't give you the trophies for things you did BEFORE the trophy patch was down-loaded....What's up with that???

Ok how do i get out of the simulation with the little girl in vault 112? I set the chandelier to drop on the old lady and set the stove to explode when opened but now I can't find the old lady. Plus are there more vaults out there? The first one I came across was 112. I am assuming there are more.
