Just got it Sunday... I only have about 3-4 hours in but I'm already hooked. I'm just killing like a mad man at this point to build EX.... I thought there'd be more escapees at Primm?
A new expansion was released today, called Dead Man's Hand (or something along those lines). I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but i can confirm that it increases the level cap to 35, presumably with new perks at levels 32 and 34. The new achievements also hint towards three new companions.
Now let's just hope the expansion permits you to continue playing after finishing off the final quest in the game, ala the Brotherhood of Steel expansion for Fallout 3.
Haven't played this game yet but why on earth would that do that for this one? That was my main beef and a lot of peoples with the original Fallout 3. It ended once you beat the game. STUPID!
Yeah its, called Money Making 101, Bethesda knew that all along and now Obsidian is using the same strategy.
Little ways into the content now. Fun. Creepy. Awesome!
Why do you have a half naked 12 year old boy in your sig?
Charlie Day is one sexy bastard.
I beat NV last week and I didn't feel like it was that repetitive and I had 90% of the Fallout 3 achievements; sure the mechanics were very similar, but I thought the 'Western' theme and the factions really made New Vegas.'Beat' the game and I just wanted to say: This game was great, but it was basically a full length game-huge expansion of Fallout 3. I think I played so much Fallout 3 that New Vegas felt very boring and repetitive to me.
Did you already trigger the assassination attempts and the Battle for Hoover Dam 2?question. is there any way to get all 7 snowglobes on display at the lucky 38. Since one is at hoover dam, and i cannot get out of hoover dam unless i finish the game (in my case, fighting for mr. house and killing legete and oliver), how can i get out of hoover dam with the snowglobe? i assume i cannot continue the game after killing legete and oliver with the snowglobe.thanks!

I beat it both with Yes Man! and New California Republic factions.

How high is your sneak? If it is low, you can also stock up on Stealth Boys. I was able to sneak all the way to Mr. House's bunker at the Fort (well, the room that leads down to his bunker) without fighting any Legion members.

i essentially completed "the house always wins" quest at hoover dam and killed legete and oliver at the end, then the credits came on. i assume i cannot continue after this and must go back to a previous save to continue. is this correct? i suppose i can go through with the yes man quest now.
That is correct. There is no way to continue playing after completing the final Hoover Dam quest. Just reload an earlier save and try for one of the other four possible outcomes.
Fallout: New Vegas fans looking for more add-on chapters to take a punt on will be getting their wish in the coming months, as Bethesda and Obsidian have no less than three new DLC episodes planned to follow up where the first add-on left off.
So far, Dead Money has been the first and only DLC add-on for Fallout: New Vegas, seeing our courier hero knocked out and forced into working for Father Elijah, gathering a team of miscreants to help you pull off a heist to steal the treasure lying in a vault beneath the fabled Sierra Madre casino. Check out our review of Dead Money for more.
There's currently no details on the next three batches of DLC lined up for Fallout: New Vegas, other than the fact that they are coming soon. Keep your Pip-Boys tuned for more information dug up from the irradiated Mojave desert, hopefully in the very near future.
