Had this game for quite a few weeks and only just picked up to play on about a fortnight ago, it's excellent! Purchased it the same time as Fable II and I have to say Fallout 3 is far more entertaining. The diversity and epic gameplay make this one a keeper.

Do any of you have a preferred weapon of choice that you keep on hand?

I'm only upto level 8, so have alot more to find and explore but I really want to find some decent armour!

Fatman. Do you need any other weapon? :lol

I love Lincoln's Repeater.
Then the combat shottie.

A23's Plasma Rifle and the Alien Blaster are the finest weapons in the game, IMO.

I haven't played this game nearly as much as I should, but I love my Lincoln's Repeater. That along with my Xuanlong Assault Rifle and my Combat Shotgun, are my 3 weapons of choice. I try to carry as much of a variety as I can though.

Laser Rifle, Assault Rifle and Combat Shotgun are my tops. A Fatman thrown in for when a Super Mutant Behemoth comes a knockin'..:D....I would love to get my hands on that Alien Gun though...

Don't have the lincoln repeater yet but my top 3 are The combat shottie, sawed off shottie and the sniper rifle. For assassinations I use the silenced 10mm pistol. I also mix in the hunting rifle when the sniper is broken.

Just picked up a sniper rifle, not too shabby for picking super mutants or mercs off from a comfortable distance. I can see my top 3 changing quite a bit over time!

I didn't even know the content was coming out this month. Any idea how much it'll be? No more than 800 points I hope. And is it gonna be a side quest or part of the main quest, cause I haven't even finished the main story yet sadly.

I'm curious to know as well.....this may get me motivated to play through this game again and do some of the side quests I missed the first time.

Here ya go guys.

Fallout 3 ''Operation: Anchorage'' Achievements and Quests Leaked
Written Tuesday, January 13, 2009 by Alan Pettit

The first of three upcoming DLC packs for Fallout 3, titled "Operation: Anchorage," is set for release January 27th, but thanks to an update released for the game today, people with the PC version got a little sneak of what the achievements and quests found in the DLC are going to be.

As with most of the current achievements, there will be four new achievements for completing quests. There may be more than these four quests as there are multiple mini-quests found throughout the Wasteland, but these four can be confirmed:

* Aiding the Outcasts (20)
* The Guns of Anchorage (20)
* Paving the Way (20)
* Operation: Anchorage (40)

The four new achievements will add 100 extra gamerscore in total. For screenshots of the achievements in action, view this thread for the proof from forumgoer Anxion.

I'm ashamed to say I'm only Level 8 and haven't even finished the game once. There's still so much for me to do, I figure with the content coming out, that'll be as good a time as any to jump back in.

Thanks for the info man, but do you know if the whole content is Side Quests or is it expanding the Main Quest? Cause considering I haven't finished the game yet, I don't want to spoil anything for myself.
