I'm a FPS freak, but I've heard so many good things about this game. The only rpg I've played a little of was SW KOTOR. I thought it was pretty cool.

KOTOR was my first real RPG that I played also. Fallout 3 is a great game, very wide open and so much to do like others have already said. Just don't go into it expecting a hardcore FPS just cause it has guns and a First-Person Perspective, it still plays very much like an RPG.

Damn! I accidently beat it. The main quest is much much shorter than Oblivion's. Now I have to go back and find a save I can use. :D

I got lucky and had saved at my Megaton home
before I went to the Citadel to start the final quest
. I put my evil character on easy last night that way I can blast through it and get the bobble head achievement before Operation Alaska comes out next week.

I saved....
right before you talk to Eden
so I will just go back and fight my way out and not start the final deal. I don't like
how they did the ending. It is too final and it doesn't allow you to continue playing.

I must admit I think Oblivions story was much better.

Yeah they messed up by having you die at the end and not letting you go on but in March somehow you continue on after the end and thats why I am glad I had that save in Megaton I got to run around and get my level up to 20.

One of the DLC packs apparently lifts the finality of the ending so you can keep playing.
But I had a save file from just before you storm the Jefferson Memorial.

Finally collected all of the bobble heads last night and now its time to find the 100 locations, finish the nuka cola challange, and get my evil character on up to level 20 for that achievement.

I just started playing this game again a couple days ago, and I can't figure out why I ever stopped in the first place. It's so fun just exploring and finding all kinds of ammo, caps and other random things. :D

Yeah baby! :rock Got my power armour the other night, simply the best you can get :naughty I can't see me putting this game down for a loooooong time.

I've played all kinds of RPF/FPS including Mass Effect, KOTOR 1 & 2 etc but I have to say this is by far my favourite. All the others I have played have been far to short.

Likewise, I was shocked when i completed it so quickly. So i just started from scratch again, made a few different choices at the start of the game & have been suprised at how different it is second time around (been to a hell of a lot more places/found new stuff), i totally love this game - it's fantastic.

Ditto, I've played all those as well, and while they are all great, they don't compare with this game when it comes to sheer size of the world. This and Oblivion have probably the biggest worlds in any RPG I've played, besides an MMO anyway.

I'm using the Ranger Combat Armor myself, and I think it works great. I haven't really looked for the power armor yet, I heard it's pretty hard to find, and that it slows you down quite a bit. There's still so much I haven't explored yet, but I'm doing pretty good with what I have so far. :D

800 ms points

Damn it to hell and back 9 times.
I spent to many points on add ons for Gears 2 and Fable 2. I thought this wasn't coming out until March so i only got 425 left. Think they will reduce the price once the DLC in Feb comes out?
