Man, there isn't a thread solely devoted to Family Guy here? That's insane.

Ok, so did anyone watch Family Guy last night? They had Roy Schneider as a guest star. Kinda creepy to have a guest star who's been dead for a year and 3 months. :horror

Yeah, how the hell did they manage that, anyway? Has this episode been in production for almost two years, or did they cobble together some bits of dialogue from some of Scheider's past films? It certainly sounded like him and not just some voice actor doing an imitation.

Last night's episode was an interesting filler episode but definitely a downgrade from the funny stuff that they've been producing in the last few months. When is the Empire inspired episode gonna air?

I missed it, I remember the time Roy teaches Stewie and Brian to use the toilet though. :lol Now heres Susan Saint James to help me wipe.

He was listed in the credits... so they were able to get him for episode. I thought that was pretty creepy.

And man did that episode every get personal with the Pheonix death stuff. It was funny, but man... too soon, too soon :lol

And I did look up the fat kid marrying Rebecca Romaine... had no idea that was Jerry O'Connell :lol

Best line was at the end. "Thank you Mr. King. We will see you in court".

Another line... "oohhh man wouldnt Stewey be perfect for that movie with where he ends up in a hotel and goes crazy and starts stalking his family? And not Shawshank Redemption"

I know this isnt part of the thread, but I also have to bring up the "Ho Hi, Ho Hi" song from Simpsons last night. At the end they sang "Ho Hi, Ho Hi if Disney Sues we'll claim thier use..."

I love family Guy

My favorite part of last night's episode was when during the Stand By Me skit, they walk to the super long bridge and all you see is the four of them from behind...and after a long pause you hear Cleveland say as only he could..."My Ass."

"Something, Something, Something, Dark Side" is going to be the season premiere this fall. I think next week's episode will be the season finale of the current season.

Last night's episode was alright, but not the best. The best part was Joe getting crippled in all three segments. :lol

I loved last night's episode, esp the "Shawshank" ending .... :rotfl:lol:rotfl

Not really serious... but it was one of their more direct attacks. And I'm 30 so I remember his death, but wasn't really a huge fan of him.

The River Phoenix thing was fine; dude's been dead a long time. But they've made some jokes at Michael J. Fox's expense a few times, and those really are in poor taste. As much as I love the show, every now and again they really do to go far. I'm thinking of the Aquaman/rape non-sequitur in particular.

Attention all customers. Testicles. That is all.

I love the show, but the musical bits are not funny and toooooo long. It's as if they can't be arsed to think of anything for three or four minutes.
Giggidy

How about that 5-minute Conway Twitty cut-away last season? Ten seconds is funny; 5 minutes is simply filling time.

I actually thought that was hilarious... I just enjoyed watching the song after a bit and how odd Conway Twitty looked :lol
