Jamie Bell is the guy from Nymphomaniac? Damn, he's an amazing actor. Wasn't really interested in this movie but I'll gladly see it for Kate Mara and Jamie Bell.
**** that movie

It was definitely weird, but I thought it was a great movie. Better than great actually, I loved it. It's not one I really care to watch again, but it was very well-made (up until the last half of Volume 2 where I think it sunk in quality quite a bit).
I've always thought Stellan Skarsgard was one of the greatest actors alive, and Nymphomaniac only strengthened that belief for me.
Yeah, Shia was great too, and even better in the recently released Fury IMO. I've never disliked him though, or thought he was a bad actor to begin with like most people do.I agree with this completely.
But God damn, as weird as it was to see, Shia Labeouf was what surprised me the most in terms of acting. I knew everyone else was gonna be great judging from seeing previous films with them aside from him.

Back to FF though, isn't it a tad strange that we haven't seen ANYTHING from this movie at all? At least officially? No posters, not even a teaser trailer.
I hear the trailer for this donkey turd will be attached to the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.
Trailers usually debut 5-6 months before release. The film comes out in August so expect a trailer in February.
I'll never understand why people make up their minds about movies [almost a year] before seeing them. The cast is strong, Trank and Kinberg are a strong combo, The Thing is finally all CGI...so far there's nothing to suggest the film will be bad.

"there’s no Victor Von Doom. Instead, he’s playing an iteration named Victor Domashev who, an “anti-social programmer,” posts under the online handle “Doom”."

But there is, there really is.
I'll never understand the Pollyannas that believe everything will be good
because they often end up defending indefensible positions to save face once they're proven wrong.
There will be some strong apologists for this mess. My crystal ball has shown me.
They're not doing 616 FF but rather Ultimate FF so having a completely different approach to Doom was expected. I'm also glad Trank didn't go with Vic's last name from the Ultimates (Van Damme) and just created his own.
Toby Kebbell actually looks a lot like Vic from Ultimate FF.
.
What's wrong with his legs? I think it's a wasted opportunity not to use the "real" Dr. Doom. Plus, I don't want realism and the found footage gimmick with a Dr who only uses electricity, instead of magic. But that's just me...
Assuming this film is awesome, Annihilus would be a very awesome 2nd villain I would love to see.
Oh ****, just remembered. Isn't Tim Blake Nelson playing Mole Man in this movie?
But there is, there really is.

TThere is nothing to defend nor to bash because NEITHER of us has seen the film.
