I think the trailer looks pretty good. It's not the Fantastic Four in the classic sense of course, but a use of the "Fantastic Four" brand and reimagining of the characters. While I would prefer to see the classic take, we have gotten two mediocre movies that under performed at the box office. Comic book movies are still superhot potential tentpole blockbusters, so FOX took a gamble and hired a young director to try a different tact that would target the YA and international market as opposed to the vocal fanboys/fangirls that make up less than 1/10 of 1%. They have a young, diverse cast and (finally) a CGI rock monster. Who knows if this will pay off but I can see the logic. Sure I'd like the license to revert back to Marvel if for no other reason to see the FF in the same universe with the Avengers (possibly Spiderman) and other Marvel heroes, possibly starting with The Infinity War. However Marvel simply having the license back and using the cannon characters does not automatically equate into a good or successful movie. Yes they almost certainly would make a far better flick than the first two FF movies, but it still might not be a blockbuster. The classic FF may well be too outdated for today's marketplace. As it is, I don't think the comic has been setting the world on fire in recent years.
