Damn, I remember reading this when I was young. The Thing wearing that helmet because Wolverine had slashed his face in a fit of rage.
Gotta love the '90s. Every female character was wearing a bikini, but also, at the same time, they would wear a big leather jacket. Thanks again, Jim Lee!

There are a couple of other major early '90s themes that you see there, though probably not to Liefeld and Lee's satisfaction:
1) excessive pouches (only on Reed's wacky vest and a couple on the affiliate FF members' belts, unfortunately. Each team member should have belts to store tissues, Advil, snacks, etc.)
2) leg belts (only two on Sue, I don't see any others

But Riddick, he's from 2099, not 1999. Wrong '90s.
You've gotta love the 90's. I love how they attach these elaborate, impractical strap-on pockets instead of just wearing, oh I don't know, cargo pants? And why does the Punisher have not one but three uh...MOS "prison ships" attached to his crotch?
In case multiple criminals need the most severe "punishment" available in one night.
