This is the position PT and a few other argue from most of the time. It's a studio vs studio thing for them, and it's not what I base my opinions on. I have no loyalty to any studio. They pay me nothing, I have no vested interest in their output aside from entertainment. I don't take a slam against a movie as a slam against the studio and take it personally like some do. It never fails, if something negative is said about this or another Fox movie, you can bet that the first defense is to point out something they hate about a Marvel movie, or the studio in general. That's so weird and foreign a place to base reactions on to me. I just like what I like.
Unless someone points out the studio, I don't usually know who is making a movie, nor do I care.
So far everything I've seen about this movie is as if the director took Sesame Street and tried to make Elm Street.
