Ben was a chicken, then Johny got powers and fried him...

Looks devoid of bright colors. Everything's at night or in a dim lab. So dark. Replacing all the warm colors with that green tint throughout everything was a bad call. No idea why they'd do that all the sudden for this last trailer. Doom looks terrible. Probably the best Marvel villain and they've already ruined him.

Also, not seeing much that sets this apart from the first movie aside from the dark visuals. They all get their powers together, have to use them to stop Doom, and Reed has a guilt trip and wants to fix them. The only real difference is they're military funded instead of by Doom.

So here's my thoughts and feelings on this movie. If Fox were to send a limo to my house to pick me up then bring me to the biggest and best movie theater around, escort me into the completely empty and reserved for me only theater, seat me dead center then hand me all the popcorn soda and candy I wanted for free with a servant standing by for any and all my personal needs, I would simply smile get up walk out of the theater then stand outside in the rain and call for a cab to take me home. :rotfl. No thanks FOX!!!!!

I'm getting an amazing spiderman vibe from the whole thing starting with Reed as a child and all. Other than that I'm willing to go see it. I don't like that they have been shrunken in age and are supposed to be the top minds in the world. That kind of talk just gets to me. In the entire world the four brightest people have to be young Americans. Yeah, ok, riiiiiiiiight.

This looks really cheap. So did the final poster. As a life-long FF fan and a guy who will go see a lot of genre movies just for the hell of it... I think I'll sit this one out. It just looks so mediocre. Some of the lines in the trailer were just so flat. And for them trying to make a more "grounded" movie, they sure as hell have some really silly stuff and lines in it. The contrast between the "dark, edgy sci-fi" look and feel and the goofy "I'm a kid and I made a teleporter in my garage!" bit is weird. It just feels like two different movies. It just feels odd. Maybe it all works better in context.

Yeah, I kinda haz a sad. FF are the coolest, & still don't have one great tribute to them.

That said, I'm still after a copy of that 1994 Corman film. :lol

That trailer scares me :lol

I might have to eat a lot of crow after this one comes out. All they've been talking about is how this is a dark gritty more character driven film but they have some really cheesy cliche dialogue that feels like it was taken straight out of a Joss Whedon film, that pretty much goes against that tone they're trying to set.

The action looks great, and the visuals look great, but my expectations have dropped quite a bit since these last two trailers dropped.

That black dudes voice is annoying. I think they hired him just so they could use it for the trailers and commercials. His dialogue is too cheesy. I wonder if they'll explain why the thing has no clothes at all?
