Okay guys, time to pounce on Nova.

Seems My faith was misplaced, disappointed with the critical reaction. Oh well.

I doubt we'll see nova in here ever again. :lol

Eh I never said it would be great just that I was hoping it would be. I wasn't wrong I was just optimistic.

Should be seeing it tomorrow or Friday.

Micheal b jordan- they gonna see it anyway.

me-Nah bruh.... sorry.

:lol
Well he was right in the sense I'm still gonna see it. But I really must stress the free icee incentive.

I don’t blame you buddy, it seems like Trank couldn’t execute his vision. I give him credit for at least attempting something different.

If this movie is really as bad as the reviews are saying, I think it's time FOX let's F4 go back to Marvel Studios. Even if it means another reboot with an all new cast.

Maybe Marvel will let them release merch for the X-movies then and help promote them. Or come to some sort of agreement.

Last trailer wasn't good, but a lot better than all the previous marketing.
It can't be worse than Ant-Man.

If it doesn't do well at the box office I can see them opting to trade for X-Men TV & Merchandise rights. Disney will of course decline which will probably result in Fox holding onto them for the next seven years

Well its still not out yet and I trust my eyes over any media criticisms. But bad reviews do hurt the box office so we'll see how it plays out. But I don't think this will be the last time we see this F4. Seems Fox is determined to get this off the ground by announcing a sequel and plan on crossing over with X-Men in some capacity. Just wish Marvel gets the rights back so we get to see these characters all in the same sandbox.

Well there's only 5 reviews up so far. Let's hold off on plunging ourselves into pits of despair, or smug self-satisfaction until we get at least 7 or 8 of these :lol

Fox already owns the X-Men TV rights and they don't have a large enough consumer products division to adequately monetize merchandising rights, so these things aren't of much value to Fox.

My guess is Fox will try to reboot it one more time within the X-Men universe, before they even think about giving the rights back.

It'll be interesting to see if Fox decides to back out of the sequel they already announced for 2017. Granted a handful of bad reviews doesn't necessarily mean a box office flop, but there's a lot of indication suggesting the movie will probably massively underperform.

Dr. Doom needs justice. FOX has failed two times already (most likely three after this weekend) but on the other hand Marvel Studios bad guys are always lame as **** too. :dunno

Maybe a soft reboot into the X-Universe is the best idea. :lol

Huh. I heard Marvel had TV rights. Marvel owns majority merch rights for sure as seen by them getting lots of X-Men products cancelled

Yeah a Dr Doom at Marvel will likely suck given their track record with memorable villains. :lol

Nope, Fox is currently in early development on an X-Men TV show and the Gen X TV movie from '96 also aired on Fox, they most certainly have the TV rights.

The merch rights are currently with Marvel but both Disney and Marvel can make a lot more money with those rights than Fox can, the value to Fox isn't very high.

Despite the critics this film will make some money and a sequel has already been green lit. Fox is not letting this go. Even if this is not well received Fox is planning on teaming it with the X-men. They are forcing this down our throats. But you never know. Jurassic World made more money than the Avengers who'd of thunk a movie about woman running from dinosaurs in heels and getting away would make so much?

Oh that greenlit sequel thing is a bunch of PR hogwash- they can greenlight 500 movies and never make one
