And now it's 14%. Getting worse by the minute, apparently.

"I made every single choice knowing that people would question it," he said. "And what better reaction than to have people then go see the movie and understand it and feel like maybe they've learned something about the world, to not question the next thing they think is going to be stupid or weird. I think that's my purpose right now in my life." - Josh Trank

Every time they try and bring Doom to the big screen it's always someone else's interpretation of the character. Which is never how the character actually is. Maybe the idea of a genius megelomaniac too hard to get right?

Simply because that is not What the Director wanted.
At Marvel you have Feige directing directors, thats is why so many left.
Here the guy is given the job and can do his vision of the material.
Like or not but at least i respect the Will to not jus roll over.
Trank is sincere, the guy is just 31, he even left star wars because of the haters.
That is sad because like Gareth Edwards they try things, and fail sometimes, but they are not yesmen.
But the same who complain about movie being dumb and generic wants the same rehash.
Enjoy the future comic book movies directed by guys from Tv with no talent and no backbone...
Again its not a good movie but not bad either, but as some said with BvS the critics already knew they would hate it.

"Trank was on set for both principal photography and reshoots on Fantastic Four, but producer/screenwriter Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and producer Hutch Parker often had to help take charge of things – and were so “heavily involved” with the reshoots (some taking place as recently as April 2015) that it took away from their duties on X-Men: Apocalypse (currently in production)."
And that shows, really hope to see the original cut.
Well then again i prefer Ang Lee Hulk flawed as it is to any of the **** that came after...

This must be an all time low for a comic book flick.

Guess Jurassic Word might keep the opening box office record...This might make 30 mil.

Still seeing it and The Gift this weekend.

Thats cool but if you want a new vision then make a different movie not mess up what was already made. its clear that this movie was made to keep the license and nothing more. I don't like all marvel movies but the reason Feige tells directors what to do is because he knows the character and he prevents people from making stupid **** ups like this.
I don't know what happened with iron man 3 though. Anyway this movie deserves all the hate for trying mess with somthing thats laid out infront of you. We have so many Great stories ruined because the director had a "Vision" for what he wanted to do. DB evolution rings a bell.
