Fantastic Four reboot

After re watching the trailers for this movie, it's incredible how many scenes were taken out. One scene that was heavily promoted showing Thing falling from the sky and landing on a car wasn't in the movie. Whoever edited the movie should never get another job.

That was a very important segment of every trailer.

The absence of a budget helped with that.

The Corman FF isn't as bad as you might expect. To be sure - it's bad. But it's got a bit of charm in that you can tell at least they're trying. Especially when you factor in that period of time - that this was something out of the ordinary for movies.

So again, it's a bad movie, but it's at least entertainingly bad. A lot of bad movies don't have the decency to do that.

Hopefully the bluray is of Trank's cut, which ran half an hour longer.

Didn't the director's cut of Daredevil do that? I never watched the movie, but that's what I read. I haven't seen this one either, so maybe it's beyond all hope.

The movie is not at all deserving of a 9% RT score.

What's in theaters is a C+ at the lowest. From what I've heard about the test screenings (Trank's Cut) the original film would have been a B.

The press wanted to butcher this movie.

I go by guys on youtube, you might not believe people working for rolling stones or new york times or stuff like that,
but youtube reviewers are most of the time honest. since they dont have anything to gain or lose.

Movies, toys, cars, music whatever will always have a hype train people jump onto to say something is the bestest ever or sucks just to not feel left out.

I go by me. I watch something and I either like it or I don't. This movie has spawned a massive hate bandwagon, one that started long before the film went into production. I've been following the production since the reboot was first announced and I can say with certainty that most people online wanted this film to fail and made up their minds about it long ago.

Its refreshing to see people cut through the bias and watch the movie only to find out its nowhere near as bad as the internet makes it out to be.

well it is not perfect but it is a lot better than the theatrical. i enjoy it for what it is

that's why this failure is kind of great. Studios keep making crap like Terminator Genesys and they expect people to see them.
Obviously ratings do not matter to studios only the money. But the bad word of mouth for this is so big that maybe it finally wakes people up to not Mindlessly go into movies that are bad.

Hopefully there is some change in people's minds as to what they waste their money on.
