no one comes out unscratched from a project like this, Like i already said, the career might be totally fine but look at how many people made fun of Halle for catwoman endlessly for like, years after it came out

The fact that Shyamalan continues to get work really is one of the most baffling things going on in Hollywood. He must hold serious blackmail material over someone very powerful. Being generous, his last good film came out in 2002 (I don't even think Signs was good). And everything he does bombs commercially. Just crazy.

I actually looked into this and I did find some interesting info
From what I understood he gets work because he never goes over budget and he always finishes on time and he is easy going so studios and actors like him

He has a huge ego but he's easy to work wih
What I don't understand is why studios don't make him direct their movies
