Well, my point is that since their main customer base is the US and Europe, then its kind of a no-brainer to release time-sensitive newsletters available to as many people as possible.
7pm for US'ers and 3am for EU'ers is hardly a compromise !

I'll start crying about missed opportunities as soon as DarthMatrix finally moves out of his parents and is able to unpack all those SS boxes he's hoarded for so long.

Ehmm... because the pre-order was started the moment the newsletter came out? (Which was at 4 AM local time for me, btw). I have no problem with the newsletter coming out at 4 AM with an announcement that the pre-order will start on Saturday 11 AM US time (somewhere in the evening here).

But where is the fun in that?

I know a few people that never miss the newsletter. One is from Denmark and the other Scotland.

The newsletter usually comes out on the SS site at about 4 AM (sometimes 3 AM) my time but last night it was a little past 2 AM. I passed on the dio because A) i'm not a big enough fan of LOTR to get something like this and B) there's alot of much cooler stuff coming 2nd qtr. that i would much rather spend my $$$ on. But congrats to those who got one.
