I got one & I live in Scotland, so all my fellow Europeans can come room my house and look at it, no touching though :lol:lol:lol:D

If selling your SS collectibles, and making money in the process, means you're not a true collector, then I would suggest the true collector is a breed on the verge of extinction :google

Oh come on Woodsy, don't be like that. You know what I mean. There's a huge difference between selling one of your collectibles because you need the space for other things, or you don't like it any more, or ordering one of these faux bronzes with the intention of flipping it.

Ok, you got yourself a deal! I've always wanted to go to Scotland, supposed to be a beautiful part of the world. I'm guessing you'll pay the expenses? :D

Did i not mention I'm a Scotsman therefore I'll be charging ticket entry at the door :lol:lol:lol

My only problem with flippers is they raise the editions on eveything, i.e PF Biker Scout, which lost value becuase of this. But I don't see this piece hitting grail status, the Yoda Bronze can be found for a good deal. Now Marvel is another level, thats flipping paradise.

I don't have and never want any kids. Just getting a point across that SOME of you Euro's are cry babies. Point made with every complaint you make.

Well Kit I am only waiting for the first time you are ever disappointed with not getting something YOU really want. Nobody on here is a crybaby and you know what?, it actually says a lot about what sort people are by the tone and immaturity coming from some of you guys towards other fellow collectors who have every right to pissed off at missing this piece. Its not the end of the world but SS always crapping on about their Priority PreOrders and sign up to the newsletter and then they pull this stunt cos thats all it is, a frenzy fest to stir up interest and create some sort of a buzz! The newsletter by the way, doesn't always come into my mailbox when its released in the US and I have heard other guys say the same on here about that! At the end of the day I'm not so much pissed that I didn't get one, I am pissed that they didn't make an announcement as they have done so many times in the past and give all of us fair warning and therefore a fair chance at getting one. I also wonder what it would be like if the shoe was on the other foot so to speak, for example if the PPO were scheduled for EU times and you guys over there had to keep awake or set your alarms for PPOs or for a newsletter that let's face it some weeks doesn't even have any announcements. If it happens once it will happen again and when its your turn to be pissed off with the "system" (I use that term lightly) that SS are using, I don';t think your friendly collectors on here will be so sympathetic. If this is the bull++++ we are going to have to endure to get great pieces then I don't see myself collecting from SS for very much longer and I never thought I'd see that day.

I have to ask the question, do you not know that you can login to the Sideshow site and get the newsletter along with everyone else all over the world at the exact same time??? You do not have to wait for the actual email, and it has been like this for a very long time now...

I think people are missing that fact. LOL!

:lol Gimme a break! If you sell one of your SS collectibles for more than you paid for it you're a flipper. You can use any kind of rationale you want but when you sell a $125 statue for $500 [whatever the reason or time frame] guess what...you just flipped it. Unless of course someone put a gun to your head and forced you to sell it for more than you paid for it. :D

You have been here long enough to know that Sideshow has done this before on rare stuff and haven't changed their way of doing it. What made you think this piece would be any different?

I agree! Flipping is part of collecting. Some people flip to buy more collectibles others flip for profit. Either way there is nothing wrong with it. Anyone that says otherwise must not understand commerce. We all buy goods who is anyone to judge what we do with said goods. If we use it great. If we sell it, so what?

Well said my man...

Also anyone who buys anthing has pretty much just been flipped. Do you think that the store that you buy product from charges you exactly what they paid for it? Hell no! They flip that ++++ to make a profit. :lol

Well Kit I am only waiting for the first time you are ever disappointed with not getting something YOU really want..

I have missed pieces more than once and not just SS. Instead of crying I hit eBay if I want it bad enough. If I miss out it's my fault for not staying on top of it.

Yep I did know that thanks but I normally only do that if I am not in work early the next day or if I know there's an announcement I have stayed up many times to sign in for the newsletter only to find either no announcements or just average news so I don't and really can't afford to be staying up every week at that hour. In fact I was surprised that there wasn't more buzz about it from the board as I usually follow what the vibes are on here but i couldn't find any announcements that it was going to be this week. I am already getting over it you know +++++* it I have to but I don't think the response from some people on here was very good, I know if I had got one I would have felt bad for the guys who missed out not call them whingers and cry babies etc etc, but thats just me............
Whats next from SS, an ES of 5 for the upcoming Gandalf vs Balrog Dio in Faux Platinum and you need to contact a Medium to find out when its getting put up for order because it will be completely random and will mean sitting for 72 hrs at the computer refreshing till your ++++ing finger falls off!!!

Well said my man...

I would agree, if this hadn't already been pointed out every other time a rare statue went up. This is how Sideshow does these things. They have been doing this since the Grey hulk dio.
