The very special thing about The Avengers was the character interaction. Other than that, yeah, it was basically a far more entertaining and better written version of Transformers.

And Ironman is easily the greatest superhero movie ever made.

for as fun as avengers was, honestly, dark knight is a better MOVIE than the avengers was. and im not even a nolanite :?

Yeah, no. TDK is a great crime thriller. Batman Begins is a hero flick.

That is my big issue with TDK now, lack of Bats. And little annoying film quips. But it's far, far from a boring, and bad film. It's pretty great.

Depends on what you define as a superhero in movies, for me it's directly saving people, i.e the kid on the bridge

So Cap saving the old man/the crowd in germany doesn't count? Or the people in the bus? or in the building...do those not count.

Raimi's dilogy still DA BEST for me.
They were unique and perfectly balanced movies.
