Ive been working on my Leon like a madman, made good progress too, got a bit to do on it still for sure though. I'll post some in progress pics tomorrow maybe.
Heres what I've taken care of
Body (heavily customized slim tryetype)
Shirt (heroic's white one, turtleneck collar flipped inside makes a perfect t shirt neck)
Pants (Heroics work great when you shave down a TT so they fit. also glued a metal clasp on.
socks (ebay)
shoes (Newline miniatures)
hat (heroic's heavily modified.. dying to see it on the Feng head)
What i need to do still
glasses (mod heroic's a bit)
acquire some missing guns (help would be great)
plant - need a new one (help would be great)
milk- going to print out some farmland labels for it
What im in the process of doing.
Suspenders (modified from a HT resident evil guy)
ammo vest (repainted all the crappy fraying white edges brown and will be adding a few more rings and a new clasp - will just have to live with the knife holster
toolbox - may add a bit of weathering
Its been a real challenge but should work out great

Are Leon's pants dark grey wool?
dark gray yes, theyre not that wolly but look exactly like they do in the movie, maybe a little less baggy in the crotch area but with my body mods thats not a problem

Just caught up with this , sounds like your doing a kick ass job Ray.
I was just wondering what you did to your slim truetype , on the Leon I have now I used to use a regular but it made the coat way to short. He looks to thin to me now though on a slim.

really ?. I got something yesteray with customs fees again for the 3rd time in a month!.
I wonder if its this head and not something else like I thought. Can't wait to see this.

I'm having lots of fun with this one uscmhicks! the head on the body will be a tell tale as to how well proportioned it seemed. I thought the thin was too t him but the regular was a bit too buff, the same problem I think I'll have with Travis Bickle.
I'm really going to try to get some WIP pics up tonight but what I did was bulk out the thighs and lats a bit with sculpy. I also slightly heightned his feet a but and did major major liposuction so the pants fit with my added snap and still have room for the shirt tucked in as well as the suspenders im making for him!

Leon has some sort of rubbed off stickers on his case. does anyone have any clear pictures of what they are? I added some weathering to my case but want to include those stickers/lables on there too
I can't promise anything, but the movie aired here last month and I recorded it in Blu-ray. I'll try to see if I can grab a couple of good pics for you, or at least try to find out what those stickers are for you. How's that sound? Looking forward to seeing your WIP pics of Leon, too.
Awesome Mudshark you are the man, i appreciate the effort at least. Then if/when we have a good idea 'll make something we can all print out and use, getting that rubbed off look will be the real challenge though but i think diluting it in water and painting them them on with a clear drying adhesive may work.
last night i added some subtle weathering to the case and completed the suspenders, both look great. I promise I'll get some pics up sunday night! Going out of town this weekend.
Also i ordered this plant guys... its close in look and about the same height supposedly. it better be nice for 15 bucks. I'll be the test subject and let you all know how it is when it comes in...

Good find on the plant, it looks almost exactly like the one in the film. Hopefully it's in correct scale, too!
I'm afraid some of the handguns Leon had in his case may be be next to impossible to find in 1:6, but the Beretta 92F and a couple of the other main pistols Leon uses in the film shouldn't be too hard to locate. They'll probably need some small mods/additions for total screen accuracy, though. (The Beretta 92Fs come with many of Dragon and Hot Toys' modern military figures).
I skimmed through the movie over the weekend and marked a few places where the labels on his case can be seen. I don't think we're going to get anything up close or crystal clear, but I'll try to post some pics this coming weekend that should at least show their relative sizes and locations.
They seem to be nothing more than shipping and/or customs labels stuck on the case. Nothing remarkable. If you photocopied some real shipping labels and just shot them down to 1:6 scale they ought to look close enough. Most of them are nearly worn off anyway.
Btw, I noticed a lot of differences on Leon's leather weapon vest. The one that comes with the figure has a lot of incorrect details, not least of all is the missing clamshell shoulder holster for the .357!!!
Anyway, I'll try to post a pic or two of his vest for reference (in case anyone wants to try modding the figure's vest!)

You could always sand off part of the neck to shorten it.
