I don't think it will be easy but I do like our chances. I haven't seen anything from them that would scare me.Sarcasm?

Knockout. Anything can happen.I don't think it will be easy but I do like our chances. I haven't seen anything from them that would scare me.
Belgium- 3 games, 9 points, 1 goal conceded (Pen).Well, I don't want to sound like a dbag but I would trade the Netherlands for Belgium any day of the week

World Cup qualifying teams
Yeah, good luck with that.Netherlands.... I repeat... Netherlands
Yeah, good luck with that.
As I said, anything can happen during knockout.
No team should be underestimated
I can't believe Suarez & the Uruguay FA have appealed FIFA's decision to ban him
Hope he ends up getting an even longer ban
So, let's see...
If it could have been said at the beginning of this tournament that one team would have a player that would bite another player, and then have the football association of that country, its media and, apparently, a large number of their fans, rail with indignation at the piddling penalty handed to him... 9 out of 10 people would've guessed Uruguay.
I agree with pretty much all of those predictions ...except I'm wondering whether the Belgians will finally start living up to their pre-tournament hype. They haven't had to work as hard as the US.
So, let's see...
Brasil - Chile
Potentially tough game for Brasil, the chileans have played very well, fast and aggressive. Brasil isn't on top form and their 9 is a disgrace. Who knows if they will up their game or if Neymar can carry them. Still, I'm sure Brasil will win a very tough game.
Colombia - Uruguay
Tough one. Uruguay have lost their star and most dangerous (no, seriously) man and Colombia have been playing great, but never underestimate the uruguayan resolve. But, when all is said and done, I think Colombia's talented team will win.
Netherlands - Mexico
End of the line for Mexico. I can't see their luck (or their goalie) saving them again. Netherlands will steamroll over Mexico.
Costa Rica - Greece
Justice will be done and Costa Rica will be the surprise of this World Cup. I don't think Greece has what it takes to advance, hell they got this far on sheer luck.
France - Nigeria
Nigeria put on a spirited fight against Argentina, but France is playing well. Allez les Bleus!
Germany - Algeria
After a deceivingly easy match against Portugal, Germany hasn't looked that good. Both Ghana and the US made them sweat it, but Algeria won't be a problem. Deutschland über Alles!
Argentina - Switzerland
Can the argentinians get any luckier? They haven't looked very hot in their preceding three matches against lower-echelon teams and now they get Switzerland. Even if they don't hit their stride, Argentina should beat Switzerland.
Belgium - USA
I'm gonna go with the US of A here. They've shown talent, spirit and have a clever coach. I think they'll be the second surprise of the tournament.
