I don't regret any figures, but I do regret buying the NECA V for Vendetta statue. One of the worst waste of money on a collectible ever for me. Even though I sold it at a loss, I was glad to have it out of my house.

Wait, I think I do regret buying my Hot Toys Aliens figure. I was never to happy with it to begin with,loose joints, then when the leg broke I was pissed.

So, I guess I do have one regret.

I'll have to agree with you there, and for the same reasons. I can't help but think that NECA could make something of higher quality is more accurate for a fraction of the price.

This particular message board is an odd destination for someone who regrets every single Sideshow 12" figure purchase they ever made.

I think that was nothing but a retaliatory post.

All Sideshow Star Wars 12". it's a pain in the ass to even break even on them.

I think we have come far enough to get the idea that Star Wars figures depreciate. They do not, normally, appreciate in value.

Myself, I do regret all of the Halo figures I bought. Never liked the game. Liked the figures, though, for a while. Now I just want to get rid of them all.

I regret the legion of 3 3/4" SW figures I bought in the 90's that now take up the majority of my storage closet, unseen.

I also regret buying the SS 12" Anakin...when the Sith Version came out only a few months later.

MGS4 Solid Snake. Well I actually didn't buy it, I ordered it, saw it in person and was horrified to find it a P.O.S. Other than that I would say Hot Toys Predator 2, only cause he is so f'in fragile to put together.

Its like when I have sex with a girl at the end of an expensive evening, I pretty much regret going out with her the whole evening.....

I regret that I ever bought the Shelob statue.
Besides that it has gone down in value considerably,
What on earth was I thinking, buying a gigantic spider!? I hate spiders!
Couldn't bare to look at it, I've got much nicer statues to take up that place in the display cabinet, so I boxed it up and that's where it's staying put.

I can name more figures that I regret selling than buying.


I definitely regret buying anything Star Wars related. None of it holds value and I lost tons of money selling it all.

I also regret buying all of SS's figures that had rooted hair. ALL OF THEM SUCKED. Buffy, Wai Lin, Anna V....they all turned out horrible.

Of course the biggest disapointments were the Buffy Faith and Willow figures which were horrible. I always believed that figures always looked better once you got them in hand but these 2 proved that theory was wrong. The only saving grace was that Faith eventually rose in vale and I was able to sell it to make up the loss I took on Willow.

I also hated how the suit went to plastic but obviously that had to happen , it just bugged me.

It was one of two medicom figures I have ever owned though so maybe there all like that and there just not for me.

No, I agree it's not the best. It's just not a total regret for me like all the other Medis I bought. I kind of gave up on them for now. I also liked Meid Spidey because the smaller scale looked like it fit in with my other 1/6's. You are right, he's isn't great, though.

Man, I am in the same boat as that guy. I kept buying Medicom because the protos always looked good but in hand, not as impressive. Oh well, lesson learned and I have sworn them off.

I don't really regret getting anything but if I analyze what I got, I think Ash PF would be the one that I could live without. My favorite PFs are Hulk, John Wayne, Darkness and Jaws Maquette. The bottom of my list would be Ash PF and Luke and Yoda Pf. But I don't regret buying them, just in order of preference, they would be the bottom 2.

I have 14 Premium formats, 1 Diorama, 2 Maquettes and 3 busts and I love all of them...
