none were terrible, just didn't meet my expectation. most are gone now.

SSC maul.
HT aliens power loader.
gg animated abe sapien.

Really?? I own both the HT Powerloader and SSC 12" Maul - both are extremely nice IMHO

Yeah, I'm a little confused by that as well. Maul is very nice for the price, and the Power Loader is one of my favorite pieces, although it does take up a fair amount of space.

SSC maul was taken down mostly by the lame buck (cant do any nature looking poses except standing), giant hasbro boots, and the lazy/dazed/unfocused expression. just not what I wanted with maul. not a bad figure, i just didn't like it that much.

power loader is nice, but not $250 nice IMO. mainly the yellow plastic used felt cheap and those little pins for the tubes breaks if you just look at them. It is large and imposing. But i have bandai gundam kits that are way more better engineered and more durable at >$50. The noise from the light feature feels very distracting when turned on and the accesory ripley was too damn short. (which makes the PL too small in scale to the real thing IMO) Dont get me wrong, its the best PL produce so far, but I just didn't feel its worth the $250 price tag. after having it for a few weeks, I just cant help feel its over priced.

All Sideshow Star Wars 12". it's a pain in the ass to even break even on them.

+1  I got really caught up in these when they first came out, and I ended up getting about 12 of them...... I thought they made TOO many characters and the SW line just kinda got over saturated, and lost their "rare collectible" appeal.... I barely broke even on these as well :sick

But I wouldn't really say I have REGRETS with any of my purchases, I just learned to be a little more selective :) One good example, I bought a MR Darth Vader 1:1 SE helmet for $1050 on pre order. It took over a YEAR to get since it kept getting delayed by MR.... I thought this item would FOR SURE appreciate, and I was in love with it. Needless to say you can find one for $750 on eBay now!!!! But I didn't buy this to flip it, so it doesn't really matter to me :D But I'd feel bad for anyone who DID buy this with the intention to flip :sick They'd lose their butt on it......

If you say so. I like a lot of their Hellboy figures though. Especially the comic-based ones.

Comic Hellboy from Mezco was a fantastic toyline. They looked like they jumped right off of the comic page. 18" Roto Hellboy was badass.

I pretty much think that way about my entire 21st. Century Toys line. I can thank them for getting me into collecting and I thought they were great at the time but all they do now is sit in my attic. Oh the money I spent on them.

I think it's natural for people's tastes to evolve and change over time, so to some extent having some regrets is to be expected. I kind of regret buying a lot of the earlier Sideshow figures (back when they were under $50-$60 apiece). They weren't very expensive, thankfully (especially second hand), but most of them just seem primitive now, and not really something that I want to display.
