Honestly that is a pretty smart and welcomed move if they are going to sell replacement arms, I would certainly purchase a couple sets just to not have to worry about dynamic posing for Cloud.Yeah, we here just like to complain about stuff until we get it and then we never talk about it again.
Oh, I've seen that pic. To be honest, that pic surfaced only a couple months after Cloud's release. The TPE material used for the arms just can't handle bends like that, and weather is an important factor in the longevity of that material as well. Not sure if you read recently, but we should be seeing replacement arms for Cloud & Zack here soon using the same material AC Cloud has. That'll be great. I sold my Remake Cloud and bike but I'll take some arms for my Zacks!
Yeah did a quick Google and it seems those straps aren't on the original outfit. So its inaccurate in that regard, not sure why they did it,maybe it was easier to cast the silicone or something instead of full
It's very common with unlicensed statues that have exposed limbs. It's easier and cheaper to make them detachable and add random straps to cover the gaps.

Yes, that's their prototype. I also love the color, the only thing I don't like about GT's version is how desaturated the colors are. I'm tempted to get this, but apparently it's their first statue so no guarantee that the production version will look this good.
