Biff! Bam! Pow! will be making collectibles based on the 1980 Flash Gordon movie, as revealed in the Entertainment Earth podcast (they'll be an EE exclusive). They will include bobble heads, action figures and more. Great news for fans of the kitschy interpretation of our hero!

I have 2 hopes. Either the figure line will be 1:6 or the bobble heads will work on a 12" figure.

Yeah, try finding a mint or even used DVD that's coded for region 1 (US) below $60. Hope this new round of merchandizing will coincide with new DVDs. For the figures, I hope they're 1/6th scale and that they at least come out with Prince Barin. Then there's the practically guaranteed Flash, Ming, Dale and Zarkov. Along with Barin, other 2nd tier characters would be Voltan, Gen. Kala and Klytus. If my wishes come true, then some Hot Toys muscle bodies will need to give it up.

Barin is the least of my concerns as Sideshow's Dalton is easily tweaked into character. All the rest however....

I hope the EE stuff are 1/6 figures.
All the customs and sculpts look amazing. I'm especially liking the Emperor Ming custom and Dale Arden sculpt. I'd definitely buy them as regular releases from Sideshow.
