People are having flex orders charged and shipped minutes after they place the order.
I tested this out myself on the destroyer maquette since I was planning to order it anyway. I chose the flex option and 30 minutes later I get an email saying my order has been charged and shipped...WTF?
It's not a big deal since I wanted it shipped right away anyway. But to the people placing flex orders and then getting the surprise it's been charged in full without their concent could be pretty upsetting.
Glitch in the system or anxiousness SS?

Wait list flips you will be able to request an accurate schedule for high dollar value items if you need it!
We have made extended payments on a lot of in-stock items with our new flex pay upgrades. Let us know if you see any other items that should have longer payment plan options, if we can swing it we certainly will!

Yeah the glitch is always on their benefit,somebody requested a Flex Pay for a reason,and SideShow charges the full amount ? What if I don't have enough on my bank account ? Will SideShow pay for the overdraft fee ?
If the issue is clearly a technical issue on Sideshow's behalf that causing an overdraft fee then we will reimburse those fees with proper documentation. If the overdraft was due to consumer error, then the fee would be your responsibility.
The flex pay option on wait list reservations were not valid as everyone had to be reassigned a new schedule if the reservation was converted. It was not a very effici8ent procedure all around. If your reservation converts and you wish to have a payment plan you should contact Customer Service as soon as you receive your confirmation email and request a payment plan. If you do this in a timely manner they can put the order on hold until they can schedule a plan for you so it does not charge and ship out.
In the next wave of improvements we hope to offer an option of selecting the flex pay plan within your online account in these instances! Would love to hear feedback from you all about what other ways we could improve the flex pay system before the next wave of changes is complete!

You can't..... I kind of wish SSC left the WL with FlexPay instead of completely revamping how the whole thing.

All they needed to do was add more payment options to the more expensive pieces. The pick your date is great but they need to get rid of the company who runs/updates there website, Unless it's someone at Sideshow doing it If that is the case they really need to get a company who knows what they are doing "News Letter fiasco"
As i have no doubt it is costing them sales they way it's running at the moment, And the Live Chat doesn't work.
I've seen buildings get built quicker than it has taken them to sort the news letter out
