Flex pay changed, pick the day and how many months

I just called and they said mine is still on flexpay even though it did not show it on the website. So I assume everyone else order is too.

People are having flex orders charged and shipped minutes after they place the order.

I tested this out myself on the destroyer maquette since I was planning to order it anyway. I chose the flex option and 30 minutes later I get an email saying my order has been charged and shipped...WTF?

It's not a big deal since I wanted it shipped right away anyway. But to the people placing flex orders and then getting the surprise it's been charged in full without their concent could be pretty upsetting.

Glitch in the system or anxiousness SS?

Wait list flips you will be able to request an accurate schedule for high dollar value items if you need it!
 
We have made extended payments on a lot of in-stock items with our new flex pay upgrades. Let us know if you see any other items that should have longer payment plan options, if we can swing it we certainly will!

How come on the WL there isnt an option for Flex Pay anymore? If a WL converts can we still request FlexPay without having the order declined by SSC?

Yeah the glitch is always on their benefit,somebody requested a Flex Pay for a reason,and SideShow charges the full amount ? What if I don't have enough on my bank account ? Will SideShow pay for the overdraft fee ?

If the issue is clearly a technical issue on Sideshow's behalf that causing an overdraft fee then we will reimburse those fees with proper documentation. If the overdraft was due to consumer error, then the fee would be your responsibility.

The flex pay option on wait list reservations were not valid as everyone had to be reassigned a new schedule if the reservation was converted. It was not a very effici8ent procedure all around. If your reservation converts and you wish to have a payment plan you should contact Customer Service as soon as you receive your confirmation email and request a payment plan. If you do this in a timely manner they can put the order on hold until they can schedule a plan for you so it does not charge and ship out.

In the next wave of improvements we hope to offer an option of selecting the flex pay plan within your online account in these instances! Would love to hear feedback from you all about what other ways we could improve the flex pay system before the next wave of changes is complete!
 
That's great then,It happened to me before I was on Wait list FlexPay,got converted and shipped then I get a email.luckily I had enough money.

If a WL converts & an NRD has been charged to my account (before I get a hold of a SSC rep to try to get it to FlexPay), is there a way to back out of it without losing your NRD? I noticed in previous times that SSC rejected my FP request on a limited ES statue. Now because NRDs has come to play, this can really screw the customer out of their NRDs if the FlexPay request gets rejected. I am a little worry about this now.
 
Wait, I'm confused. I have been considering the C3PO bust, but now I can only flex it in only two payments. How do I increase the number of payments?

You can't..... I kind of wish SSC left the WL with FlexPay instead of completely revamping how the whole thing.

All they needed to do was add more payment options to the more expensive pieces. The pick your date is great :clap but they need to get rid of the company who runs/updates there website, Unless it's someone at Sideshow doing it :slap If that is the case they really need to get a company who knows what they are doing "News Letter fiasco" :lecture

As i have no doubt it is costing them sales they way it's running at the moment, And the Live Chat doesn't work.

I've seen buildings get built quicker than it has taken them to sort the news letter out :lol

You know strangely enough near where I work, it took them less then a month to build & put up a business building which I estimate to be the size of a football field. Very fascinating how quickly they can put up a building.

I think changes are good if it's done right. Sadly there hasn't been any but seems to have made it worst.

I like parts of the new features that SSC has done but I am not like the Flexpay or WL options they currently have.

The archive search engine is flawed too. When I type in Lord of Darkness, it only shows the PF & 1:1 bust. Where is the LSBs? It's actually more frustrating to search for items now. There are other statues too that I can not find onthe archive search engine.


I'm okay with changes but I think it should be tested internally before launching it live.
 
They should have just shut it down completely until it was perfect. Then there'd only be one problem and the bellyaching could be quarantined to a single thread.
