Wait, I'm confused. I have been considering the C3PO bust, but now I can only flex it in only two payments. How do I increase the number of payments?

Rather than discontinue the flex pay option once the schedule has started, we have opted to offer a plan of the remaining payments. C3PO is due into our warehouse in two months thus only two payments left in available plan. If the item sells out completely in the next few days both full pay and flex options will move to waitlist. If stock remains after processing flex payment option may be reoffered.

What about people who got on the waitlist before the change around.

I got on the waitlist for the Skaar ex the day it sold out using flex pay,
There has been a few converted even though I pre ordered first.

Is there a different waitlist for one time payment vs flex, And can you explain why some people and me got the email saying they were going to cancel my waitlist due to Sideshow thinking they will not be any cancellations on Skaar,

If it is the case that using flex pay back then puts you at the bottom of the list moving people up who are paying in one go I wish I was told on the site as I would have done it that way. Looks like I blew it

This one time payment on a converted WL is not good. What happens when u have a high ticket item of $500 to $1000? There is no way that some people can pay that all at once due to other preorders. It would ultimately suck if you collect the NRD and the buyer can not get the converted WL into a flex pay option. The only way this would work in favor of the buyer is scrap the NRD on a WL item. I really think SSC should rethink how they do this because I don't like it one bit. I spend $20k last year on statues and about 3/4 is directly towards SSC products. Juggling FLex Pay or delays is a hassle & a pain in a butt. Now this is another one.

That does not make since for different list. SSC say's they don't charge until the statue is ready to ship. But if I had a flex pay and paid ahead of time, the two payment out of three early because they don't take last payment until it ship. Then I'm still might be SOL because of the one time payment wait list order! Please tell me if I'm wrong but it seem one time payment are sent first then flex pay start on what left ?

If you're rich enough to afford $20k on statues you really ought to learn how to handle your own money so you aren't reliant upon someone else doing it for you via a billing manipulation. Put the money in a savings account and transfer it to the checking account when its time to pay the bill.

Yah if SSC can keep scheduled released dates then we wouldn't have an issue here. However when there are delays, it becomes an issue. I'm Canadian and SSC doesn't do direct account transfers. It's all done by Credit Card. :nono

Delays mean a longer time to save money yourself to pay off your credit card. That helps the matter, not hurt it.

If you really wanted you can prepay your credit card if actually saving money in an account is too difficult.

I find it odd to demand Sideshow customize their process for you because you don't know how or don't want to put aside money into an account so you can pay for it when its ready for shipping.

Furthermore, usually large ticket items are large space eating items. Its silly to ask Sideshow to hold items in their warehouse for WL converted items for flexpayers to extend payments over 3 months when there are other wait listers or second chancers willing to pay full price now and get it out of the warehouse.

^^ all my Flexpay are usually paid month or 2 ahead of time. The bottom line in this economic times, it's benefits SSC from helping out there consumers. I see no problem requesting a week later charge on any item.

Seems like you're asking for a lot more than that based on this thread.

Post 106 seems like you think they should hold WL converted items in their warehouse to accomodate people who can't pay for their conversion all at once.

Any reasonable person that wants to buy an item and is on the WL would begin saving their funds with the hope that it converts and if it does they will have all their funds in line to make the payment...not have to ask SSC to hold the item for them.

All I stated was that WL should have a FP option instead of paying it one lump sum. They had it before, why take it out now?

probably as I said they;d rather get the product to someone willing to pay in full so they don't have to carry inventory in their warehouse. If the product still goes unsold your hypothetical customer can simply buy it once they saved the funds themselves.

With the new flex pay system both wait lists we merged into one based on time codes of reservation placement so everyone still retains the appropriate place in line.

Currently, if your reservation is recalled and you would like to request a payment plan, then you should do so via LIVE chat or email to customer service ASAP. Currently, clients have approximately 48 hours from Reservation fulfillment notification until it turns into an actual order. This should be plenty of time to contact customer service to request to a payment plan. They will put your account on hold to prevent anything from charging and shipping in the meantime. That is if you contact us in time, as some clients wait to notify us.

If there are payment plans available, then you will be offered one. If there are no plans available you have the option of canceling the order in your account or the customer service rep can do it for you. Within the next month, we will have potential flex pay options display directly to the client through the cancellation process if they are available. This way the client does not need to wait for a representative to assist them.

In regards to receiving a notification about wait lists closing down, Sideshow sends out these notices based on past client requests. Collectors have informed us that if there is no chance of getting the exclusive reservation filled that they would rather know so they can potentially purchase a regular version of the item rather than not getting it at all into their collection. Thus from time to time, you may receive a notice that we do not believe that your reservation will be filled and that the wait list will close shortly so that you may be able to make a more informed decision.

These are all great questions! Keep them coming!

I already addressed this in one of my previous replies, see below! Most of our more expensive items do have payments plans available, such as the 1:1 scale or half scale items. ($1,000 to $18,000 range)

If there is only one or two of a lesser expensive items ($300 ish) that become available to the reservation list, there may not be flexible payment plans available for those items. The client would have a choice of a full payment or to cancel it and offer it to the next person in line. However, I believe in many instances payment plans can be arranged for these items as well.

If your reservation converts and you wish to have a payment plan you should contact Customer Service as soon as you receive your confirmation email and request a payment plan. If you do this in a timely manner they can put the order on hold until they can schedule a plan for you so it does not charge and ship out.

In the next wave of improvements we hope to offer an option of selecting the flex pay plan within your online account in these instances! Would love to hear feedback from you all about what other ways we could improve the flex pay system before the next wave of changes is complete!

There is a $600 statue up for preorder now (not a WL) due to ship in March and only 1 payment option? Why isn't there any flex allowed?
