Isn't abortion a federal right, in Roe vs. Wade or something? States can't override that, can they? (I may be very uninformed, so be nice!)

I believe that is correct, however it is a states right to put certain restrictions on it. I'm not 100% certain how all of that works.

This is Bob Barker reminding you to spay and neuter your humans!

That's a hilarious way to put it. I was shocked that so many people voted against it. Who cares if someone's gay?! People are so afraid. My philosophy is that if it isn't hurting anyone then what's the big deal. :peace

I do believe that it's hurting Jesus.....:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

This is the dumbest bill ever (next to Prop 8). Don't they know birth control is not just used to control birth, but many women use it to regulate their periods? This is a slippery slope...it's time to stop being so irrationally afraid of everything. It's like when people called Elvis' music "the devil's music." Prop 8 was embarrassing and so is this.

People are really much more conservative here in Florida than one would expect. California was a breath of fresh air. I felt like a prisoner granted a leave. :lol

This is pretty much how I feel. I don't care for politics/religion/racism/sexism...whatever. As long as it isn't hurting anyone then WTF??? Who has the right to tell other people what they can and cannot do??? This is really stupid...I can almost predict it now--if this gets approved every high school / university in florida will have an "outbreak" of young pregnant women.

You guys are looking at this all wrong. This is a great time to set up a system of kiosks to sell condoms on the beach during Spring Break.

The government. That's who. Voted, by the people, for the people, and no one is going to stop them doing whatever it is they think the people think they want from their elected officials to get them across the finish line at the elections. Now, what's for dinner? I vote sheep.
