re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It just says that is left the sort facility yesterday. I think it'll be a few more days before it gets here. I can't wait to see it. I'm sure I'm going to love it.

Well, it was just touch up, but I think you'll have a hard time seeing the spots I painted.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I know, but those spots really bugged me, so I'll be very happy to have that fixed up. Really appreciate it, Rich.

I've been think about getting one of those Dewbacks. I wish I could get some stuff sold, but it's a lot tougher moving stuff in the for sale section these days.

Picked up those pint glasses at Target... They marked them down to 15.

Got those a couple weeks ago. The Vader one has become my go to beer glass. Now that the wife can drink again after nine months she gets the Leia one.

:lol That's the life of a father...

Hey, does anyone know if you can remove the armor plates from clone hands? Seems like a cheap way to pick up black gloved hands if you can.

Yes, it's fairly easy. I did this on a Cody holo hand and a Gree open palm hand so I can change the holo hand and have it used by Gree. Just pry it with a flat head screwdriver. If you don't need the armor plate intact, you don't have to be careful about doing it. Otherwise, do it slowly... the plate cracks easily. It'll leave a big squarish hole in the black hand though (the plate actually inserts into a slot on the back of hand).

PBR is good, old school beer. Speaking of old school, I picked up a 12-pack of Pearl in cans. My wife and daughter are out of town for four days, so it's the Star Wars saga and beer for me. :yess:

Episodes 1-4 watched on Blu-ray. Last two tomorrow. After this, my Star Wars saga will likely be one of the PT fanedits I have coming and Harmy's OT.

How are those Harmy versions? I've just been watching my 2004 bonus discs with the unaltered versions of the first three movies. I haven't watched the prequels since I saw them in the theater.

They are freaking awesome! Not quite Blu-ray quality, but much better than the DVD versions. At some point he is going to redo them using the Blu-ray transfers.

Thank you, Pia! I honestly wanted to pick up a few just to have simple, black gloved hands... but filling those slots and repainting sounds like a pain.

Richard, can you PM me the info to the PT fanedit film?? Is it possible to get a copy from someone?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I, too, would be interested in the fan edit. It's hard for me to imagine ever sitting through them all without skipping at least half. Just way too much filler/awkward scenes, like you mention, FLOSI.

No doubt... A solid fan edit from the BRD set would be awesome!

Happy Friday guys! you're welcome FLOSI. It's not so bad... a little bit of scuply and black acrylic paint from your local arts and crafts store and you're all set. :wink1:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I wanted to thank FLOSI for helping me out big time. He did a repaint on my Lando figure's head that had some missing paint on the nose and hair and it looks amazing. You can't even tell there was ever a problem. Thanks Rich. You are awesome!
