I read he has a bluray de-specialized edition coming out. I would love to see that since I never bought the official blurays due to all the bs.

oh mama.........:horror

i guess i need to find out why the hell my dvd player won't play them..........maybe i just need a new dvd player. mine is several years old.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Mine worked on a PS3.

Wanna come over?

No pants allowed.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That's the issue Barry... it has to be a bluray player. Even though they are DVD-R's the format (I think) is one that only BluRay players can do... why that is I have no idea. But my PS3 does just fine with them, yet my DVD player can't read them.

You can also watch them on a computer; just a matter of opening up the largest file on the disc.

Who has a working set of Harmy OT?

Oh yeah. Thats right.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

The movies are in AVCHD format (which I guess is HiDef for camcorders)... so unless that is one your player can handle you'll be SOL. Most BluRays can, epsecially if it's a newer one... but if you are every buying one it's good to check.

We bought my mom a pretty basic BluRay and I sent her a set and they played just fine. And so far anyone with a PS3 hasn't had any issues with playing them.

thanks j............i've avoided the whole blu-ray thing for a while but being able to see a harmy sw version is really a good justification to buy a br player. :lol
