Funny, or sad, thing is, I'm actually sitting here coughing like Gollum! :lol

Close! Little guy is actually Gollum!

That's pretty cool. I think besides the Sauron I won, the orcs and uruk-hai are the best. They look pretty awesome. I'll never own them, though. Sauron will have to be enough.

I'm starting up a few episodes of Robotech before I head off to work...

Man, I'm such a geek. :lol

You're not so bad. I watched the new episodes of the Ninja Turtles and My Little Pony cartoons this morning.

I think this Asus may be going back. The touchpad isn't scrolling up and down now and the keyboard feels cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. :(

EDIT: OK, the scrolling is working now, but it took a few minutes after starting up. Is that normal?

CHEAP!!!!!!

seriously though, that sucks! Hope it was just a fluke. :(

I'm trying out my daughter's Acer Chromebook right now to see how it is. It's smaller, but the keyboard actually feels better and the touchpad works flawlessly. Hmmmmm.

I wish I had a Macbook.

I bought a HP pavilion dv7 for $800 3 years ago and it broke within the first year and I treat my electronics like a baby so I don't recommend HP. My buddy also had an HP and same problem for him.
If I ever get a laptop again it will be a macbook.
I would rather invest in a PC than a laptop though unless yopu really need it to be moved around the house.

Around the house? Yes! But I also move my Air all over the country with no problems to report yet in it's first two and a half years. Very good purchase for me, I bought it for school.
