Thanks! It sucks because I can't attend a wedding of a friend of mine at the Zen Center today, I'm just too run down, and still have to work tonight.
Yeah, like UT said, casinos never close. The Sports Book does close at night, but as there are still games on holidays, we've got to be there.
Here's the rub this year. I requested Thanksgiving off, and my boss said I could either work 7-11 in the morning or close from 5-9. I'm like alright, we eat later so give me the early shift. Then when the schedule goes up I'm on it from 8-4, the whole damn day pretty much, considering I wouldn't get home until 5! Long story short, I raised holy hell, and pouted a bit because I'm so damn good at it, and he changed it back to 7-11, as discussed.
This is the main reason I've gone to making my requests via email, and saving the responses, so I have evidence. It helped this time!
