I saw the 2D version today since the local theater was showing 3D HFR. I liked the movie, but I almost wish it had stayed at two movies and been more faithful to the book.

I feel the same way... two movies and not adding extra stuff would have been preferred.

That'd be my guess... I know they don't have to do anything, but it would be cool if they hook up people who tried to get the codes to work, or have like a $15 one tomorrow that's easily accessible for everyone.
