Oh yeah, they stocked up these past two weeks for the sales. Lots of Star Wars, TMNT, Chima, City, Friends, and minfigurs. Every set was 25% this week ending today.

I usually don't go there. CVS is more convenient. But I really don't go there much either. It's pretty much all about Target. They have everything...

I wouldn't either unless I worked for them. :lol

I do love the Target!

But those Walgreens LEGOs were a steal. Almost 50% off for new sets, yay!!!

It's been raining here the past two days. Side yard is flooded. :( And whenever that happens it trickles in on that side of the basement wall and under the tiles to the drain. I fixed it once but just popped open the wall to see where it's leaking this time. Just looks like the concrete is oversaturated and seeping in, and a few other small crack holes I can see that will need to be repaired once it's dry. Just wish it would stop raining. :thud: They said that if this rain had been snow, it would've been the equilevant of 4 feet! :horror

They say an inch of rain is equal to a foot of snow... That sucks about your basement. Have you ever had it properly sealed and waterproofed?

I'm glad you like it! :yess: I hope everybody gets theirs in time for Christmas. They should have been delivered by now but I guess USPS is probably backed up with the holiday volume and some of the crazy weather around the country.

I think mine showed up today but I didn't get a chance to open it. I'll have to check it out tomorrow before work. THANK YOU!!!

I picked up a 3DS XL today at Target, but I didn't get the 10% off. They also only had the blue and black versions. I wanted a red one. I think I might just go to another Target next week and see if I can find a red one to exchange this blue one with.

I was at Target this morning and checked again for the Zelda bundle since it was the last day of the sale. I tinkered with the idea of getting a rain check but changed my mind. I'm DYING to play the new Zelda game but I'll probably just buy a cheap used 3DS, I don't need the XL.

Well, I took the car in this morning and the diagnosis wasn't good. It would have needed about $800 of work to which they "hoped" it would do the trick plus I still would have needed to take it to a Transmission shop and lord knows what that would have cost me. Instead we took the car to a local dealership and ended up coming home with a lightly used 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. We almost bought a new Honda Pilot but the payments would have been ridiculous so we went conservative. I'm so looking forward to the holidays being over...

On a bright note, I got Thom's print in the mail AND my Alien Reaction set!!! I didn't have time to open either BUT the side of the box said "Clear Alien" along with the rest so that's the bonus figure. I found a pic over at the RS boards. It's actually a Transluscent Black Alien which looks AWESOME:

The Houston Symphony sent me a photo of the John Williams concert. You can see my little glasses in the bottom right of the pic. :lol :lol

It looks like Yo Yo Ma is either falling out of his chair or over-enthusiastically raising his hand to ask a question. :lol

Sorry to hear you were forced to get a new car, but at least you have something reliable now for the winter...
As for Alien, I am so jealous...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

probably both!? :lol:lol:lol

Was he like, "OOH OOH, MR. WILLIAMS! OVER HERE!!!"

I thought that was UT at first! :lol

The car was on it's last legs. We had already put close to $3K into it already this past year, it was only a matter of time. It just angers me that I just did like $500 worth of brake work a few weeks ago. I just wanted to at least get to the Spring so we could save some $ for the down payment and get all the holiday bills out of the way.

As for the Alien, I'm shocked. I thought it was going to be like cloaking clear, not that. Keep an eye on eBay, they should start popping up now. I have a feeling not many people will care about this figure and want to dump it.
