re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Funny thing is, I was at Mayfair Mall on Christmas eve looking for that store because I had found mine there last year. I ended up just getting some See's chocolates for my mom. What a bust.

I've heard Meijer's stores have them too, but I went to a couple and neither one had him. At this point, I should've just bought him for $30 online. I really miss them at Kohl's because I could get them after Christmas for really cheap every year.
I was at Mayfair on Christmas Eve! Perhaps we walked right past each other! :panic::panic::panic: I was there in the early afternoon, like 1:30 to 2:30. Their parking lot was a friggin zoo. I had no trouble parking, but getting OUT was nearly impossible!

Perhaps someone else can help you out. Indianapolis has an American Greetings store in Circle Center Mall. There is still a bunch in the country. Tons in Canada for some reason...

I was there about the same time. We really may have crossed paths.

That's a pretty nice mall, actually. A lot better than crappy Gurnee Mills out here. I was walking by the X-Box One display and some kids were playing the motion sensor dance game and I was happy to see they were dancing to the Ghostbusters theme. Pretty awesome.

I only got Ewoks this year. :(

I still want to pick those up. I never pay full price for their ornaments. While I think they're nice, they're horribly overpriced.

Damn, Delta airlines was selling tickets for $25 this morning. Hadn't heard about it. They are honoring all of the mistake fares...

That Microsoft Store is new. Dunno if it is permanent, or only there for the holidays. Yeah, Mayfair is a decent mall. It didn't used to be, but it's steadily gotten better over the years. It is the ONLY Milwaukee mall with a movie theater, LEGO store, B&N, Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, Microsoft Store, and Apple Store, plus probably others. The other malls all pale in comparison. Plus it has a TRU now, which is very nice. And it just got a Jamba Juice (Wisconsin's first, I believe), but that put Orange Julius out of business (they closed like a month after Jamba Juice opened)
Sucks that I missed you! Mayfair is on my way home from work, so I go there a lot. We got out early that day...

I guess it lasted for 2 hours. Supposedly was all over the internet, which I've been surfing ALL DAY, but saw nothing about it...

My friend at work got me a plush Cacodemon from Doom. It's amazing.

Woah, that takes me back! I remember playing Doom every night when I would come home. I was really bummed out when Doom 2 suddenly ended.

I have very fond memories of playing Doom 2 when I was a kid. I remember installing it with the floppy discs way back when. The only way I could beat it was with the walk through walls cheat. The final bad guy was a dudes head on a stick that was behind a wall that didn't see accessible any other way.

I had a Playstation (1? 2? can't remember) Doom/Doom2 combo that went directly from one game into the next. But I don't recall the head on a stick. The last board I remember was kind of like a big warehouse full of every kind of demon you had faced thus far. Maybe I didn't finish Doom 2 after all? :horror

The Kermit was for me. Waller wanted Gollum, the Vacation car, and... I forgot the 3rd. Something LOTR related I think. Thanks for checking though...

I remember Doom well! It was like the first 1st person shooter game! It started the craze...

Time to go home! Later, peeps...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Ken wants Kermit. I want Hogwarts, Gollum and National Lampoon's Vacation station wagon. :wave
