For those of you planning on going to C2E2...

Are you getting there Thursday night and staying, or planning on showing up Friday morning and just staying Friday and Saturday night?
I can let you know a way to get a hotel for around $80 a night I think.

Just need to know when you guys are planning on showing up, so I know whether to book Thursday night as well, cause if you guys are going to be there that would give me reason to stay so we could hang out the night before a bit.

If I can swing it with Waller I would like to do it from Thursday.

They're saying there could be another 10" of lake effect snow just today as well. I have a feeling the drive home is going to suck today.

I hope so too. I wouldn't mind if they're in the Pacific Rim scale and priced the same. If they did him in the big maquette 20"+ range, he'd probably cost $1,500.

That price is totally a Pacific Rim-Job!

I think I'm going to have to get the Simpsons Legos when they come out. I'll regret it if I don't I know, so might as well grab them as they come out.

Think quick, I want to get my hotel booking final.

I can drive over in the morning with plenty of time to get there at opening Friday, so either works for me. Just seeing if peeps will be around Thursday or not.

I'm not sure what my plans are. Since I live so close, I may just take a train out there on Saturday and that'll be it. Haven't decided if I'm going to stay at a hotel or go for more than one day.

I think skipping out on Sunday is fine. You'll see all you need by then, I'd say. I've been there three different years and one day is usually enough for me.

yeah, skipping Sunday is fine. I usually cut out around 1pm or so unless I'm scoring good deals from the vendors.
