The dolphin I swam with today is 40 years old. Dolphins in the wild generally don't live past 25. Take that for what you will.

Watch Blackfish. The "trainers" are encouraged to embellish those misleading facts to make us feel good about keeping these amazing creatures who would likely hunt us to extinction if they only had opposable thumbs, in glorified bathtubs. Oh, damn, I really tangented there...

Albeit, Blackfish is about Orca, but it applies across the spectrum I believe.

Well I'm half Asian, my mother is Chinese. Growing up in 1970s Australia, that was enough to make you full Asian in the worst possible way

I'm full on Taiwanese. But I haven't been back there since I was 10 (almost 33 now).

I'm a banana now, yellow on the outside but white inside. All my friends are white (as evidenced by 95% of the group in here).

I walked a section of the Great Wall a couple of years back - I'm not much for doing the 'touristy' things when I'm travelling, but that was one I couldn't pass on, and very glad I didn't.

I started watching Breaking Bad this week. Hooked after the first episode!

I wish I could go back and watch that first scene for the first time again. I knew at the time I was in for something special. Enjoy!

It's reasonably cheap, the infrastructure is top notch, the culture factor is huge and the people are wonderful - well worth a return trip after 23 years

I remember when i was back there we were riding on a bus and an American tried to talk to me in Mandarin. I knew what he was sorta saying, but was it was still jumbled in a way. I just told him, "I know english!!!"

So Ben, Eric and anyone else who has built a Lego Death Star, is there anything I should watch out for? Advice?

I thought I already posted this, but the forum was acting buggy for me and it didn't seem to take.

Watch out for the string elevator. I had a lot of trouble with it and trying to get it to work properly. I retied it five times and it still gets tangled up when I try to use the mechanism.
